growing autoflower's in the winter outdoors

I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask the community if you can actually grow a winters crop outdoors using autoflowering cannabis - in some kind of micro bush shack/green house? Off property. In the Bush. Is there a thread that already exists? Anyone tried to do this? Anyone had any success...
