hello,

thanks for taking the time to check out my thread, this is my second grow, I'm 4 weeks in, they showed sex around day 19/20, they were under a 250w hps dual spectrum 24/0 for first 3 weeks upgraded to a 400w digital maxibright setup and got rid of the cooltube as i didnt think it gave enough spread,
i will post some pics in the morning.

Damn man, for 36 days old those buds are looking awesome, especially the last picture.

Halfway through would you say?? If so they are gonna be fantastic looking plants.

What method are you using to grow, couldn't quite see on the pictures?

I would love to grow a chocolate variety but I've been worried about the flavour of the buds themselves and I know I'd turn every plant into a delicious stock pile of hash...... but I'm just not sure I could bring myself to lose the buds to hash, would have to be on a multi-strain grow. Looking forward to your smoke report so I can finally put this issue I've got to bed.

Chocolate hash is by far my favourite to date.

Hey Rivalfish, growing in soil (canna terra pro), in 11 litre pots. feeding them canna flores and boost now, its funny cos I'm gonna get bubblebags for this harvest, as I do love a good bit of hash but am afraid I will suffer the same quandry as you in regards to buds or hash haha. To be honest I'm not too sure as to how long they will go as it only my second grow would happily take any advice on this

My opinion would be they are early finishers rather than the 10/12 week mark but really who knows lol. Do you have a scope to see the trichs later on or an android phone (I use the camera on a Galaxy S3 and take a close up picture of the bud keeping it in focus and then on the phone cropping the image a few times, each time getting closer and closer to the crystals till I can get a good look at them, works well for me).
I'm always gonna aim for the 10 week mark with my plants so see what happens. 70 days is a nice number...... though 80's better.... we'll see, keep us posted.

Yeah I thought you were growing in soil. They really are looking great for their age. I'm impressed. May have to sample these seeds.

It's fantastic hash to make a hash hot chocolate as well. I remember being in Amsterdam one year, sitting in La Chocolata smoking my first chocolate hash spliff while sipping on a hash hot chocolate and a hash muffin on the side. Pure heaven.
