Wow, I got bad news bro, you're going to probably have to take some massive steps to get anything outta that plant. My recommendation is to flip to 24 hours of light, cut about 10 clones and plant in rockwool or rapid rooters, then throw the mother out or put her in a separate room and flip the tent to 12/12 lighting. Definitely not an autoflower if she looks like that at 10 weeks...depending on where you got your seeds, it wouldn't be the first time I heard of a seed supplier mixing up the photo/auto seeds of an identically named strain. If you were to flower her at that size, it would take over your tent and cause all kinds of space issues. Better to try to get some clones and flower those once they root. Good luck!

No offense stitch, but I have a two tents FULL of "spanish" Dinafem photo strains AND auto strains in full glorious bloom that would make you eat your words right there :o ;) I love Dinafem, awesome company.

low_and_slow, wouldn't he want to try a 12/12 light schedule to try to induce flowering? Would there be a benefit to the time it takes for the clones to root and then to flower as opposed to trying to flower out just the main plant? I have a tent with 10 different auto strains in it right now all in flower and some are not flowering out nearly at the same rate as others. I figured it might have been my light schedule (18/6) that I'm using for all of the plants. Or just maybe bad pheno? I've got some autos that have the biggest thickest buds ever on them and the strain next to it has smallish wimpy buds.

I second flipping to 12/12. If it's not auto then the leftover options are cut it or flip it to flower manually and hang on for the ride.

Flip that baby to 12/12 you going to have some nice nice big pile of sticky buds at the end

I don't know how big his space is, but most sati-dom strains like cheese stretch to 300% their starting size when you flip to 12/12. That thing is already huge, he could EASILY run into space management problems, or even worse bugs or mold with a plant that big and bushy. If you start with 8-10 small clones and flip them to 12/12 as soon as they're rooted, you'll get 8-12 medium sized single cola plants that could yield up to an ounce or so a piece. That thing, flipped to 12/12, would turn into a monster and probably create more problems than it's worth.

I guess to answer your question, yeah, you could just flip her, but I think there are other options that make more sense.

low_and_slow, I disagree with you. I don't believe the bush of his plant is going to affect whether he has bugs or mold or not. I have plants practically performing a menajahtwa with each other and I haven't had ANY bugs at all and zero mold. Keep your mold in check by keeping your humidity in check and don't wet your leaves unless you have to, and keep your temps regulated. Temperature regulation also will help control your pests too; I used to let my tent cook past 90 degrees F and I found out that was the brooding ground temp for spider mites (almost lost my first grow to the damn things!) Since then I learned how many ways bugs can infiltrate your grow; if you used soil you are open to a huge host of problems depending on where it came from (trust a guy who used to only use Miracle Grow, there's lots of nasty crap in those bags!) You can put nylon screens over your passive and active air intakes to prevent small bugs from getting in. Sticky strips in your garden. But most importantly is keeping that humidity and temp down. Maybe I'm a bit biased though; I live in an area where statistically we have very low and dry humidity.

As for the size of his plant; I guess if it were me personally I would ask myself: do I really want to go from growing 1 plant to switching up my style to a 12 plant SOG?) I have over 30 plants in my basement right now and let me tell you, despite them all doing surprisingly well and being big bud producing monsters, I would trade 29 of them for 1 really good big one. The management of multiple plants versus few plants is the difference between spending your evenings doing what you want and spending your evenings sitting in your flippin' grow tent. If he's worried about the size of the plant, strap that bitch down. Low Stress Training is just exactly that, low stress training that is going to help manage your branches without causing a lot of undue stress, or more importantly, any more undue time loss on top of what he's already going through finding out he might have a photo strain on his hands. Cloning and SOG'ing just adds a lot of time to the equation, and if it turns out it was just a crappy pheno to begin with, then he'll have 12 small crappy pheno's. Grow out the main plant and enjoy the same fruits in the same amount of time since you're already invested into the veg stage at this point. Just my :2cents:

Fair enough, just my opinion, there are dozens of options. Maybe an aggressive pruning, supercropping, and LST is just what the doctor ordered.!:bong:

It was just a joke lol because we all do know that it is not allowed to offer seeds here in open forum, hahahaha but this make me laugh a lot oupssss !

even to me some times i have autos that didn't turn totally autos, so you must all be aware that any auto statins may contain in it like a 2 % of non auto strains which are due to processing stabilization of the automatization. It is not a problem at all, but in fact this plant so far iI can see is a Cheese photo dependent one, just switch her at 12/12 and it will be like a normal one.

Cheers

And ti the moderators, IT WAS A JOKE!!!!!
