Hi,

I need some help with my young'uns. Posted in my journal, but not many people see it. So decided to get some from here

A bit of info first:
- Tent 80x80x180
- LED GN MS006 at 23" or 56cm
-Growing two Blue Auto Mazar in 15L air pots
-Soil is Plagron Batmix (not mixed with anything) PH 6.5/7.5 NPK 3-15-4
-Feed is tap water (hard) that i leave bubling for couple of days before
-PH I dont know as I dont own a meter, but I managed to get the water quality report from my provider.

Symptoms:
Day14
Slightly droopy for one of them (the first to show), burnt tips on the first set of leaves, lighter green patches, and yellow spots on the second set and new grows..:help:

DP-BAM1Day14.jpg#1 seems a bit stunted

So I'm thinking
-Hot soil burns
-Defeciency of some sort
-...

:dunno:

Could some one help me diagnose/treat, please?
More photos in my journal link in signature.

I,m not familiar with that soil but others might know.
How is temp and humidity in your tent?
Looks like your soil is very wet! Could it be over-watering?
Just took a look at your water, some RO water wouldn't be to bad!
Or mix your water, a bit of foilar feeding wont hurt either!
Did you use nutes? You should use some rootstimulator( most important for the moment)

Anyhow get yourself a decent PH and EC meter it will make things much simpler!

best of luck bro:Sharing One:

Thanks for the input Soylent,:tiphat:
Temp fluctuate from 23˚ to 30˚, 27˚ right now and RH is around 30%

I fed with 1.5L water to get some runoff last night, as I think it could be a nutes burn due to soil being too hot. I usually use 0.75L, and dont feed them for couple of days usually.
The warning on the bag says no extra nutes for 6 weeks the phosporus being P15 it should be plenty for the roots!

No nutes at all just plain water, that I leave to settle for couple of days before feed. Mix my water, what with? :dunno:

RO water could help definitly I think.

Foliar feed like Cal/mag or just plain water?

I will have to wait till pay day for the PH and EC meter, dont really want something cheap as I heard they are crap..

Temperature should be around 25 lights on min 18 light out! 27 can be done but 30 is way to high! (measure your temperature at the right place)
a temperature controlled extractor fan is truly handy!
Humidity is a bit low 40-50 would be better! Place some water in your tent of wet towels!
Mix your tap water with distilled water!!
foilar feed using nutes made for this purpose!

Always better to invest in good material! :Sharing One:

The thermometer is laying on the pots at the moment.

I might invest in one of those Zerowater or a Brita Jug in the mid time until I can afford a good RO filter..

Water in the tent already, the RH meter that I got is pretty bad I think tho so it could be higher %

Might put some alg-a-mic in my spray at a really low %.

This is just so frustrating really:cuss:

Agreed the good stuff doesn't come cheap..

Thanks a lot bro!

The britta and stuff is just crap! Better buy yourself some 5 liter cans of ironing water( distilled water) at the supermarket!

Best of luck! Stay calm bro :vibes:

So the foliar spray with Alg-a-mic didn't seem to improve anything abit of groth on #2 but #1 is getting more burnt barelly any growth... :(
Invested in a new temp and RH meter which now gives me 40/50% RH, Temp is 21˚/27˚, ordered a PH and EC meter which I will hopefully get by friday.
Also got 1.5L of RO water as I couldnt get my hands on any distilled water..
I thinking to flush with a mix of RO+tap+Alg-a-mic Im at 16 days now and they dont look to good"High Team Help Me"

Suggestions appreciated!!!!

Mate IMO your plants are suffering Lock Out.... They wont up take any nutes until corrected.... Flush flush and flush lol... No seriously try a good flush with a decent amount of run-off and not from the side holes im talking bottom run ... Stop laughing i Did say bottom run-off...lol...

Do it in stages... 3 sounds good say 5 liters at a time and on the third add 2ml per liter of Cal/Mag... Then let them settle for a few days, they look a little worse for wear for a short time, but they will bounce back well......
