Read a long article about myths and facts for the Decarb process. Ended up being an ad for the Nova system(maybe biased). At any rate I decarbed fresh flower from lollipop (cut off plant this evening) and sugar leaves and popcorn nugs from a plant I harvested on Saturday night, or was it Sunday. 25.5g decarbed flower 27 minutesin a 215° oven, 4 oz coconut oil, 2 cups water on stove simmered for 2 hours+10 minutes to bring up to temp.
I do have a question. Does anyone know if the oil actually absorbs the THC or is the THC (and other cannabinoids) coming out in the form oils that are simply mixing with the coconut oil base?
Also I think the cannabinoids (or at least the psychedelic properties) are not water soluble;
therefore the water has no use. Thoughts on that appreciated as well.
Fun fact.
My girlfriend ate 5 of my previous gummies this weekend (3 g of gummies). An hour later she was impatient and ate 12 more grams. 2 hours later she sat in a chair for an hour concentrating on not falling off of the chair. Yes she was that stoned she thought she was going to spontaneously fall off the chair. LOL. Also though she is an excellent cook she had to ask me to dismantle a chicken because after 20 minutes of trying the whole fryer chicken she was cutting up, with my extremely sharp chef's knife, was completely intact.
