Hi! First grow and am on day 5 since first green was showing. Currently just using a 80W cfl 2 inches above the grow.
Watered it twice since first green. No nutes untill week 3 since I am using a mixed compost.

Just wondering how it looks for day 5? Has some dark spots on the new set of leaves growing, normal or not?

Thanks guys! This forum has helped so much! :D

Hi Buddy, not bad!

Not an expert myself but have grown 6-7 autos now...love that strain, happened to grow it last year and unfortunately I stunted it, pretty sure it was because my CFL was too close the first 2-3 weeks. The smoke was awesome anyway LOL!

I learnt that Autos are very delicate during the first weeks of growth. I would put the lights about 10-15 cm. until she gets started, no nuts until week 2, and don't overwater, I would recommend just spraying her every other day and water a little bit on the borders of your pot so the roots will work trying to reach out for water. Make sure your pH is 6.3-6.5 and good vibes!

Congrats on you first post! Nice dude, welcome. She looks good to me, I don't see the dark spots. I'm currently week 4 in a couple AKs, been great so far.

All the best!

:peace:

Thanks for the info guys! Appreciate the welcome.

Day 6 now.
Would you say the size is normal for this stage or below/above average?

Hello!
On day 26 now. The grow is insanely bushy though! Can barely get access to the soil. I hope it stretches out soon.

Is it a problem if it is this bushy? Thanks!

Looks really, really healthy. It may be too late but you may generate a little stretch by moving the light a little further away. I think bushy is fine though...looks like you'll have plenty of flower sites, and the canopy of fan leaves will be doing their thing for it.

Bushy is OK!! you'll have a lot of bud sites appearing, put your lights a little higher and you'll be fine
