New Grower 1st grow.. 1 TD and 3 Red Dwarf

So my girl is almost 8 inches tall so im thinking very short for this strain. I know still a cpl weeks left of verticle growth but I am wondering would it be ok if I trim some of the leafs back?? Its so bushy so ithought by doing that I would let more light in.. it would be awesome if someone can let me know.. thanks

Welcome to AFN. Most people don't reccomend triming at all. These plants grow fast and need their leaves for light absorbtion. I am growing 4 that are all the same strain and 2 topped out at 25in, one at 20in and one at 15in. The shortest has some of the best buds. Your grow looks good and with that much light you should have a good grow. When you switch to bloom nutes, after vertical growth stops, you will see the buds start to fatten. As the lower fan leaves yellow out you can trim them and let more light into the interior. I move my plants every night so that they get light from all angles. I understand that temps below 50f are bad news.

Thanks gent I wasnt to sure if I should or not so now I know just let it do its thing.. I think that I stunted the shit out of her from the get go with such high heat now I have such doubt that she will grow much more verticle!?! I guess another week or 10 days I will find out lol

Don't be too worried about size. Muddy explained to me that variations in size is something we have to live with until these strains get more developed.

Day 38 roughly and wow my TD is budding nice again still 8 or 9 inches tall but the main cola is larger then a bic lighter already so ya im happy...

The red dwarfs are looking good so far its only been around 10 days now and there off to the races...
Im so pumped about this grow I really want to know what is gonna be the better smoke.. I really havent heard much about the TD but I have heard that red dwarf is awesome....
The store where I get my seeds from just got a huge shipment in and I dont know what to get next? Im leaning towards Dinafem White Widow...
I have smoked white widow once in my life in amsterdam and it knocked me on my ass so thats why im leaning that way..

Growing has turned into the best hobby I have ever had, almost as much fun as sex. Remember to make the first feed about 1/4 the recomended amount, you will know if it is too strong when the tips of the leaves turn brown. Not a real problem if you correct next feed, less is better.

Hey AFN peeps been a few weeks since my last entry... today is day 63 of the TD and she is looking not bad.. she never made ut past 9 inches but she has flowered really nice.. a couple weeks back I burnt the shit out of her though so I flushed her twice and continued as nor.. the burn stopped so that is good.. buds have frosted over which in turn making my mouth water daily the buds have also turned a nice purple shade and im not sure if its good or bad but sure looks awesome.. not to sure when to harvest her maybe another week wich will be 10 weeks..
Now the RedDwarfs look good there just over a month but there very tiny due to the small ass pots I used 1.5 litre lmao... but there starting to flower so ill take that any time...:thumbs:
