Lighting 1st Journal - 6 Strains 300wLED 60x60x120cm Organic

Ok, as expected the repotting didnt go too well...the HD is no more, I think the PG will join it tomorrow/day after. The somango is showing greening signs, but is it too late? And the flash...well...i think it might've started growing again!! But not celebrating yt....
In the meantime...I have planted a Purple Express and a Nordika...the PE was born 3 days ago, the nordika today. In fact, i was panicking with the nordika, so i actually planted a white widow as well, but onky yesterday.
I have sprouted PE and Nordika in coco, the WW direct in organic seedling soil with mycorrhizal
If somango survives, i will plant all in 1gal again....but we shall see! Photos tomorrow ..even of the bad plants! :-/

peace!

Hey lunix. Some big differences to learn and others to unlearn from photos. To guarantee some crop, maybe try a few to the side with Soil and Flower tabs or just tomato spikes. They give a decent yield. They lessen the load to leave time to really learning the fine points and give reason to smile when what you will produce looks better in before and after pictures when you finally get it down.
These folks will teach us to use the best of the best in every regimen but our tendency to do it our own way learned will still get us in trouble so a little insurance helps.

For every problem there is a fix.. My old grow partner is quoted many times in saying "It's a weed, it want's to grow". I use the same pots. I give 28oz of water per day. I check if they need water by lifting or picking up an edge. If they are super light, I water.

Good luck my friend!

My favourite mystical bird has landed - your nick gave me a huge smile! :)
It was a very fast learning curve on difference between photo and auto - i had read about the differences, but never thought they'd be quite so marked, especially relating to over nutrition!! You suggestion is full of good sense - experiment on a select group, keep a 'banker' - at least there'll be enough to limp through to the next grow! ;)
that is what I have done this time around. I have the white widow auto directly in light seedling mix, the nordika and purple express in coco (to begin with). I might put the nordika in the same soil as the WW, but i will experiment with the purple express with a mix: planning on cutting a bottle and having a centre core in the pot of coco alone, then i will fill the pot with a 50/50 mic coco with super soil....i have done nothing this week but read on different ways of growing with coco and seems that even autos like the 50/50 approach. I will just be going a little more cautious with a centre of coco to the bottom of pot - better too cautious this time round!! ;)

Thanks for the wishes, much appreciated!
I agreed with your partner...until a couple of weeks back - these autos just did not want to grow in the (admittedly extremely rich!) soil i gave them! Lmao
just joking of course, i agree, all they want is to grow well and reproduce! I like helping them get the biggest flowers to maximise their chances - although, whne they least expect it, i take my cissors to them!! Lol ;)
will post photos tonight of the new arrivals...plus a look at how bad the somango and flash are doing! :)

Funnily enough, the somango and flash are JUST showing signs of growth...we shall see! I tried to pull the PG..but she too must've done some root growth! Whether enough to survive for any of them...we shall see. The Flash might actually be a photoperiod, if it is and makes a comeback, i might get something decent of it

Anyhows...the Purple Express has already grown a taproot out of the bottom of the coco cup! That means in 6 days it's already longer than her predecessors ever were! So I've potted it in a 1 gal smartpot..it has a centre core of 80% coco and 20% RICH compost, about 40% vol of the pot. The rest is a reversed mix, 20% coco 80 RICH compost. She will be my test, the WW is directly in 1gal pot with normal seedling soil. Tomrw i will probably be moving the nordika in a bigger pot too, probably a mix again unless i find it in me to pull the PG

And...somoe photos, as promised :)

Good luck to all that read this for tomorrow...THE monday!!! ARGHHH!! lol
