what size is the tent?
if you have the proper area and extra coin to spend i would go w/ the 2 600 watt lights
most effecient besides bulb price comparison and you will be able to get the 600's alittle closer if you have proper venting for them but besides adding 200 watts to the intensity you will have two light sources for light to hit plants at dif angles and you will have overlapping light in the coverage area
2 600watt lights in a 4 foot wide by 4 foot deep by 6 foot high tent would be a lot. If you had dimmable balast and could dial it down during veg, and early bloom it would be nice to have 1200 watts for FULL bloom, but would be a waste of money up until then in my opinion. I'm having to keep my lights (1200watts half in cooltube) about 2 feet from the plants to keep the leaves from bleaching. You would DEFINITELY need an A/C to keep it cool. 1200 watts creates A LOT of heat. I've got a 6' x 12' room and the AC runs constant.

that is why i asked what size tent?? thought hummm well i guess they ment a 6 1/2 ' x 6 1/2 ' haha if they were even debating two 600
i would hope someone looking into 600 or 1000 watter has a plan for venting

thanks guys and i was gonna get a light with th reflectors vent stystem ,the one thats has a glass cover with a light kit

yea like a cool tube but the bigger 1s that a kinda square and have a glass cover for cooling and a vent for a fan on the side,its likea sun master vents
