Curious about 200w cfl lamps, what kind of lighting distance do they provide at 10 inches? Which i do believe is the correct distance to have them at from the top of the plant. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, thankyou

I've never used them, but I know they use them in Space Buckets, so I'm sure you can get a lot closer.

Really? 10 inches is too far away? So does anyone have a clue about the coverage? I would just like to use from day 1-30

@tom mitchell , Hi there buddy, i been gorwing with CFL's for 2 years now. With CFL's as you already probably know, its more about getting as close as you can, always playing attention the the leaves not to get burned, i never use my lights closer then 10 cm from the plant, specially in seeding, you dont need to get really close at that stage. Also, keep in mind that bigger its not better with CFL's, i also use to use 120/200 w buls ( x 2 or 3 ) for my grows, ..... then after reading and learn for others CFL's growers, i give it a try using 8 x 26W bulbs ( as you can see on my current grow ) .... and let me tell you, thats the way to go ...... and you are using pretty much the same amount of Watts the if you are using 2 200 Watts bulbs.

I was only interested in using it for the first 20-30 days. for a 60x60cm space, would one of those single 250w cfls be good? I know you recommended multiple smaller ones. but i just cant do that atm, maybe in the future :)

Its gonna be Ok, no worries, we are talking about the " best " condition if its possible ...., the first 30 days are as important as the las once, you plant is developing herself and her shape, side branches, so it is important to give as much light all over her, from the top and sides, so she will give you not only one big main cola, but many sides ones ..... ( specially with CFL's, wich have a low spread and penetration of light )
I been where you are, and learn from there, so go ahead ! everything its gonna be fine ;)

:vibes:
