My first grow was successful, with about 11$ in soil from ace hardware. With that being said I have a 2 Cf bag of ffhf I want to use this grow. Can you guys help me out with what I need to add to the ffhf soil to make it a good soil for autos. This go around will be 4 autos in 5 gallon fabric pots in a 32"×32"×5' tent with 2 1000 watt led full spectrum not sure of actual wattage "to lazy to get up"......help me out

Soil wise its fine the way it is but go buy a small bag of coco loco or worrier light mix somthing for seedlings put a hand full in the center of pot and plant it will give it a better start sometimes there are hot spots with that soil so that's how I run it personally aswell as many others are u looking to use dry organic amendments or u using bottle nutes?

This time I'm gonna try advanced nutrients line had great luck with ff trio on last grow..I personally just try to shake things up a little where as some other people find something that works and sticks to it. I'm gonna give that a try with the coco choir..getting ready to go in dirt by Saturday will peat moss do the same thing?

I will be starting my 2nd as soon as I order more soil. My first go I used straight FFOF and, man, I’ve had some issues. That being said i want to stick we FF and even FFOF but I will definitely not be using it straight like round 1. I know OF is much hotter than HF nute wise so I think I will use HF with a little of my mixed soil which will have 60% OF. I’m gonna try and put the soil in the pot ( 5 gal fabric) in such a way that it’s a gradual transition from one soil to the next as not to shock the plant.

Forgive me, I know this is hardly related to your post. I will say that you should add some peralite so that your soil doesn’t compact too much Over time leading to drainage issues.I’m in the midst of it right now. Cuz then you might get desperate and do something silly like buy a bunch of worms to help aerate your soil but not provide them with suitable conditions either killing them or causing them to head for the hills. Yeah lol...

Did the coco choir in the center of pot for seedlings seems to have worked soil mixture is 3 parts peat moss, 3 parts ffhf, 2 parts perlite, 1 part vermiculite..the problem I'm having is it seems as these 4

They seem to be motoring on, but not what I would call vigorous growth. Still a long way to go, so hopefully you end up with nice harvest. Fingers crossed.
