Ok really I just wanna know the average time for a germinated seed to sprout? I let her germinate for about 36 hours and she had a lil tiny root tail poping out.. I then planted her into black magic soil before hand watering the soil.. I planted her root down about a inch. I've got at 23 watt 6,500k in a clamp lamp hanging about 4 inches away. Her soil is starting to look a lil dry.. I'm just a lil curious when I should expect her to pop out? Do most people have there's pop out in like 24 hours? Thanks!

What strain? Fresh new bean as far as you know? An inch is too deep IMO and that's probably why it's taking so long to come up. I literally just press my beans into the mix, maybe 1/3 of an inch. And then my favorite....Wait. :D

She's a malana bomb. Thanks bro ill keep patient. I know it was a newb mistake with the whole inch thing.. Should I put sedan wrap over her? The humidity is 61% and 76.3f

I use saran wrap but some people don't. Growers preference really. So long as they are moist and relatively warm you won't have any problems, given that the seeds are viable. Don't over think it.

Well I'm having problems keeping the soil moistened.. It's pretty dry on top... Think it'd help if I gave her a spray or two and then suran wrap over the pot? Or is it to late to wrap.

Nope, not too late at all.

What i do is after planting the seed i get a red plastic cup spray the inside with misty water and spray the directly where the seed was planted.. maybe like 5 sprays then put the cup directly over the seed and gently press it into the soil to make a little humidity dome.. burying it deep is a good way to go so that the plant will remove the seed shell and the gunk that its attached to, when it pops up you'll have a clean baby plant!

I have seen it take 10 days for a seed to break ground.....be mindful that watering will make it very easy for the root to just lie there and get lazy....you really want that root to go deep and search for moisture...a good start to the under-soil 1/2 of the plant = a better finish on the top 1/2.

I have had a lot of issues with planting too deep. When it doesnt.come up and I go looking for it and there it is, first leaves too...under the mix. I have had little to no issues since I started simply pressing them down a bit and covering lightly. With or without a dome or plastic, as said it depends on light and temps and all..some setups dont dry the topsoil out as much as others.

I also dont soak mine either unless they're older beans. Nearly 100% germ rates. :D
