hello everyone this is my first post on this forum, and it looks very nice and friendly!

I have 4 autos and 2 photos almost in week 4 now. (latitude 59)
I have put them in black plastic bags in the ground with purchased soil, 1 hand dolmolite, 1 hand chicken manure pellets (4.1.1), and some drainaige rocks at the bottom.

Could you please tell me if anything is wrong or if there are things I should keep in mind.

(it has rained more than it has been sunny here, and i think they lack of nitrogen) ?

i planted them on june 8 - 10

i gave them a half hand with chicken manure pellets at the beginning of third week, nothing more. i was thinking of buying some bloom ferts at week 5-6 also.

Here are some pictures:

Day 24 Jack herer (auto)
(the second set of leaves looks wierd on this one, and it looks a little yellow)

Day 24 Frisian Dew (photo)
(This one is really small and don't know why really,
the stem is also weaker than the other plants)

Hey Excile! Welcome to the forums. ^_^

Thats a nice variety of plants you've got growing there!
I've never grown outside, but look forward to seeing what you have going.

One of the outdoor growers will be here soon to help out

All the best

Only minor issues if they are even issues so don't worry, sure someone with more problem solving experience than myself will go into more detail but from my experience, it looks like you have near on nothing to worry about.

I would say for now stop adding 'special stuff' to your medium, what is the type of medium you are using? standard peat soil or special canna soil etc?

I found this year that I have had a worse start largely down to my plant magic supreme soil rather than basic composty stuff (and terrible weather up to now)

Let things be natural & basic and if your plants are hungry or in need of extra stuff, they will tell you.

Perhaps get a moisture/PH tester in the mean time :gthumb:

hey herb! I bought standard soil at my local store, (hasslefors P-jord) soil and one organic soil, so i mixed them up 50/50 in 2 or 3 pots. I just can't remember wich plants have 50/50 soil in it. Woops
I was thinking of buying a ph meter actually, it's pretty important from what I have understood :P

Thanks! :peace:

That's a ferted soil isn't it and on top you added extra stuff, try to get some really basic stuff to lower the level of ferts if possible if you encounter issues and then add some stuff like biobizz fish mix during flowering if needs be.

They look ok for now but if that soil is fertilized it could potentially be an issue.

Regarding PH levels, it is very important yeah but in all honesty I have grown lovely plants with not ideal levels and my plants now are in soil as low as level of 4, the rest at about 5-5.5 and they are all getting past any issues and becoming lush now however I may just be lucky.

Try not to worry but do try to reduce certs and get a ph tester so if it is wrong you can address it and moisture meter too as you can tell water level below surface then.

Yes its fertilized soil, biobizz fish mix looks nice man, ill think about it!

Thanks stylez rasta smoke

They are looking fine to me. You said a lot of rain for awhile. Once they get some sun they will shoot up. Your autos 4-1-1 chicken you put in is enough untill sex I would say for your autos. But your photo you might wanna get it on a feeding schedule I use fox farm trio. Works great for both autos and photos. Happy growing. Oh yeah human hair and piss around it and get a bottle of liquid fence its cheap will keep them nibblers away.

It has been sunny now for 3-4 days about 24c (75f) and it looks lika its gonna be like this all week. Ill upload photos of them again when I visit them soon.

I am thinking of just buying "sunleaves jamaican bat guano" for bloom, u think it would be ok?

Thanks man:tiphat:
