So I just bought 2 x 600w reflector lights with 5w LED's from TOPLEDSELLER on EBAY........delivering from Hamburg, like MarsHydro......in fact their whole inventory reads like a copy of MarsHydro, just as I keep getting AliBaba quotes ad nauseam for LED light that are identical to MarsHydro lights, but cheaper............

So MarsHydro does not have the 5w Reflectors available yet, but others do.........here is the thingies bought for a bit of burps and blasphemy.........being denied GN lights for "a couple of weeks" for 2 months.........thing is Ebay knows that I have bought from this seller before, namely the 2 x 600w lights bought from Tina at MarsHydro with 3w diodes at a rather higher price 2 weeks ago...........and all of these Lights come from the same warehouse in the UK and DE...........so am I thinking completely out of the box here..........?

Or is size and actual power draw.......a bit.......mmmmmm.........cheapish like.........any thoughts?

It also seems that all lights now come with 5w diodes, even the venerable 180w UFO lights........no IR specter though if that is a harvestbreaker.......for some!

If you go on the tina from marshydro thread in the marketplace forum. You can read where she states there reflectors will be now coming with 5w diodes and a lot more info about them

Yes, I know that..........is that the politically correct thing to do....?

Most of these lights are rebranded so it comes down to company support. Personally I would rather pay a bit more. Knowing Tina will have my back for 3 years then 1 year but that's just me. I know thousands of people would rather buy it cheaper, like you and that's ok. I have like two panels I bought super cheap also from eBay from topledseller also the 180w ufos and they were great but stopped working after 18 months, he offered a discount on my next buy but said it was passed the warranty. In that situation I kinda had wished it was 3 years instead. But am glad you're doing research

Contrary to what you imply, it has got nothing to do with cost......buying it cheaper.

If GN had had lights available, and "It's been 'in a couple of weeks' for a couple of months now" that would have been it without any further ado............this it is about a couple of things..........., quality, most bang for for you buck, and NOT something grossly oversold specs-wise.......

Yup, you bet........I do a weenie bit of REgarding SEARCHing as best I can.........including voicing it here

Huh I'm talking about the light you posted. And give it is rebranded by so many companies with same specs and stuff so It would come down to cost and company rep like I said since they're all same quality. But of course when we throw in gn into the mix th quality is not the same. But this wasn't about gn it was about this light. And not bad of a light as it's the same as all other leds in the same category. Seems like China is making/ the 5w diodes now instead of 3w as most leds like you were able to tell are switching to 5w

Yeah.......seems!

But anyways, as I bought a couple of them(never really expected they would accept my offered price on ebay.....lol) we'll see in due course what stuff they are made Ford tough of..........

Watch it now ... some of those knockoffs have no propper chip cooler(s) propper fans. . Beware of fake marshydro wheight n size is best clue.. if itsweight is extremely light ..likely no heatsiinks etc..

That light look just like the Vipar ones. I got the 400w(200w true) light with 5w blue diodes from vipar.. My next one will be the 500w double panel one, depending what the cost for the new Mars-hydro 5w equivalent will be.. Insides of those lights are made by evergrow or something similar.. Great lights never the less.. Highly recommended..
