Can someone help me out with this....I have a 600w hps I'm thinking of running in a 3x3x6 tent. I also have a 4in inline fan (170cfm) as well as a fan to circulate the air within.

My questions:
Is a 4in fan good enought for this size tent?
Is the 600w to hot for this space?

I have a 600w in my room with a 5000btu AC unit in the room. 6" carbon filter and a aircooled hood. My room size is about 40"x75" 6ft ceilings and is gets in the upper 80s when I turn my light to 600w. I have a dimmable ballast and only run 600 at the end of flower.

This being said i would say that you are going to have a hard time with heat and a 4" fan unless your room is someplace that is cold and needs the heat (basement, outside room in a house thats not heated)

The tent will be inside a airconditioned room, I was thinking of using the 4in fan to push cool air in and use a 6in for exhaust also two fans to circle air within...

Depending on the temp of the room and where your exhaust is going to go you should be ok. Just do a test run with no plants for a few days and see what the temp change is between those few days. It also depends on your strain. I got some that love the heat and some that love the cold.

I'm still waiting on my 6in fan to be delivered and exhaust will be released in a separate room.
I decided to run my system for a few hrs the way it is with just a 4in exhaust and a fan within the grow space to check my temperature. With passive intake air the grow space was a nice 81F degrees with ambient at a comfortable 73F. I'm still going to add a intake fan as well as a small co2 system.

I just got my seed order a few days ago and and plan on popping them sometimes next week as long as my conditions are on point.
