First of all welcome to this mephisto genetics grow out.
Those who have been following our Farm and projects thread, will know we have been hard at work building a new room and developing new automatic strains, the first of which we hope to release in 2014.

The title says it all really but to elaborate, here's the full details:

The vast majority of strains are at F3 of the Non-Auto to Auto process.
The line up is:

Hubbabubbatelescope - Our project using an elite bubblegum cutting

24 Carat - A special Sour Boggle cut. Super afghan, produces beautiful nuggets.

Steel City Blues - The most desireable cutting from our region of the UK, the only thing grown and smoked. Very old Skunk#1 variant.

Sour Crack - (24 carat x Green Crack)

Sour Bubbly - (24 carat x Hubbabubbatelescope)

Chem City Blues - (Steel City Blues x ChemD)

Bubbly Kush - (Kush Van Stitch x Hubbabubbatelescope) - Just made for fun. (Future freebies)

Chemdogging (F2)

Crackamatic (F2)

We have started 70+ of each variety, Using a variety of pot sizes ranging from 0.5 - 3 Litres (80% are in 1 litre pots)
Using smaller pots allows us to cram the maximum number for selection in to the available space and also help us to identify stronger plants that are less prone to stunting (which is a big issue for AF's)
Of course we will lose a significant amount of plants to males which will be segregated well away from this room.
We will lose plants that do not autoflower, and then any undesireable plants we will cull appropriately.
I would like to end up with 16 females from each strain (f3) , and 8 from the F2's. From those only the very very best few will be selected for pollination.
We will do targeted pollination leaving the majority of the chosen plants sensi. The sensi buds will be labeled, dried, cured and then evaluated prior to the next generation continuing.

Our approach is going to be of a 'survival of the fittest' nature. We will not purposefully brutalise them, but we don't intend to pamper them.
We will be selecting from a criteria of:
Vigour, Structure, Resin, Scent, Taste, Smoke. And also minor details I can't verbalise well now, but a true standout specimin.
Yield is not a concern, more of a bonus, but we will always choose quality over quantity.

We will feed with a simple regiment of organic Grow, Bloom, and natural additives such as molasses and epsom salts when needed.
All plants were started in a light organic soil, and when the plants have shown sex and due a transplant they will go into our own recycled soil blend.

Fingers crossed. And hope you enjoy.

Wow! Speechless! That's a bunch of plants to tend.Good luck on your project!!

Holy shit son! Go big or take your ass home! I feel ya! Doing it big! I'm subbed up and ready to watch!

I can't seem to figure out multi-quotes, but cheers all!

It's a true sentiment from Guerrilla, I don't know how long we will be in the position to grow like this so I'm grabbing the opportunity by the balls :)
Potentially it's risky doing this as the virgin run of the new room, but everything is on 600w, temps steady at 75. I don't want to jinx myself, but so far so good in there.

One day in the future I would like to do a room like this as a monocrop for selection, but I'm psyched!

Cheers, Mitch
