Hi guys,

I have a Tangiematic entering her third week of bloom. I have her in Happy frog soil and have been amending with GH's organic Biothrive(Grow & Bloom) line as well as CalMag and Koolbloom and under a 300 W Meizhi led.

I had to leave for 5 days and watered her thoroughly as well as fashioned a swick setup in case she got thirsty while i was away.

I came back to a very dehydrated plant as something about my swick setup did not work. I watered her as usual and its been 24 hrs but she still looks very stressed. The leaves on the bottom have all turned yellow and the leaves on top are all turned down which i know is a sign of dehydration.

Will she recover from this? Anything different I should do?

Thanks!

She should do fine you'll probabanly lose the yellowing leaves if there are any leaves leaves that are starting to yellow that you want to save you could try a little foliar spray but at this this stage I would just treat it like a defoliating experiment it should only have a very small effect on the yeild. On the bright side if you had any fungus gnats they're probably dead. Good luck

..did you soak the soil well? Such dry outs can make for patchy rehydration,... a wetting agent will help greatly with this! Heft her, and see if she feels properly heavy,... also, when it goes that dry, roots are killed/damaged, compromising uptake, and it also send the pH into large drift,...rehydrating should fix it, but while it's potentially off pH in there, other problems can kick off,.. hopefully this is settled at this point though,.. lingering effects of this may continue,.. if you have a root tonic of sorts, SuperThrive, or the like, this can help with the shock,...:goodluck:

Hi Waira and Wiltstone,

I did as you said and fed my plant only with a diluted solution of Superthrive and then consequently regular flowering nutes as well as superthrive for good measure. I also have been using superthrive as a foliar spray (as per manufacturers instructions). Unfortunately none of this has worked. its been around 3 weeks and my plant still has most of her leaves curled downwards and growth has been stunted. Also the bottom leaves have turned yellow and now the entire plant is light green.

Going through the self diagnosis sticky I think all signs point to a N deficiency and have given my plant some Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks!

...sucky to see mate- :pass:.. looks like the root damage was severe, right on the edge of plant death,.. she lingers and struggles on, but with fragg'ed roots and sizable plant demads, she's not making headway,... and no fixing her at this point,.. Superthrive can help only so much,... bad roots uptake nutes poorly too, hence the overall starvation/defc.'s... MG nutes are not recommended bro', bad NPK ratio, too strong usually as well,... get cannabis dedicated nutes in the future,... all purpose has too much N for bloom stage...

Damn.....I really don't understand how it even got to this point. I tested the pH runoff at every feeding, fed her recommended nutes on schedule.
How do you think the root damage occurred?

Appreciate your reply Waira.
