I appreciate all the encouragement and help ive gotten here so far and time for another checkup and q and a session.

So yesterday I upped my air movement in my room, added 1 16" fan but due to the mounting bracket I was rewlly limited where I could mount it. The air isnt blowing directly on the plants but instead creating decent wind all around the room. Ladies very slightly dancing, but im concerned because of my other issue.

2 of 5 of my plants grew out of the starter cubes across the surface horizontally about an inch before growing up. This has caused them to be very weak so I took the liberty of adding maybe .5" cap of dirt to help support them and bury exposed roots where it grew across the surface. Will adding dirt cause rot or any other issues and what causes them to run across the surface?

Ladies are on day 14, 4 look great(to me atleast!) And one has always been a runt. Should I pull the lil guy? Also since adding the bigger fan yesterday and lowering my light from 42" to 28" I noticed my humidity down to mid 20. Is that dangerous for these lil girls? Also planning on adding my first veg nutes soon, last watering they got 4ml root starter and 4ml cal mag.

Thanks in advance guys! :smoke:

Forgot pics. One of the good plants, the runt, and what im working with for a room. 2 weeks in theres no chance of the runt producing right? Contemplating pulling it and starting maybe 2 more plants

Hi Birch

Lightly dancing girls sounds good to me! :) I know others who will face their fan against a wall to blow it around the cab.

Nah, the soil mound wont hurt - the problem was there was no breeze on them when they popped out their heads and the stem didnt get strong. I've done this plenty of times (and the shock of seeing your prize girl fall over becuase of the weight of water on the leaves is not a pleasing sight lol)

No problem - get a pencil or straw (or if they're really tiny a tooth pick) and some sandwich ties.
Stick the prop next to the stem, push it down a little and tie the stem to the prop :) you can remove the prop when the plant gets a bit stronger.

"One bean blue" Never says die! lol but it's up to you. I've seen runts do quite well. If you got the space stick her in the corner and see what happens.
my humidity down to mid 20.
Yeah thats a bit low. If you can double it, it would be great.
If you can fit a big plant tray in the your cab, and raise your pots on the the big tray, you could put water in the tray (a large surface area with the fan blowing on it a little) should raise the humidity nicely for you.

I've used cheap humidifiers in the past ... but in my experience in a small cab, it was a bit rubbish. (and expensive and time consuming to run)

hope this helps! :)

All the best
Blue ^_^

Thanks blue! I was afraid to support the small plants thinking they wouldnt grow stronger, but ill keep an eye on them I have some supports that should work. I also have plenty of space right now so ill see what happens with the runt, it definitely isnt dieing, its just um not in much hurry. And im going to put some tap water in a rubbermaid in the side of the room where the fan is facing to see what that does to my humidity. Before the bigger fan and lower light it was usually 35-45% humidity

With the nutes on hand in the pic, what should I feed them later today? They are 2 weeks old but way smaller than most journals ive seen at this stage so im not sure. I have only been adding the root drops (8 drops per gallon last time) and 2ml calimagic. I keep reading 2 weeks as the general starting time for veg nutes but where they seem to be slower should I wait a bit longer?

No ideas? Based on the calculator on DM website it came up with 6ml 6ml and 11.5ml for the veg nutes. Seems high to me but said I should have done 2ml 2ml and 11.5ml week 1 and 4-4-11.5 on week 2 which I didnt do either of. Neex to water soon so any help would be appreciated

I think the rule of thumb is don't feed till 2nd true set of leaves.

only give them1/4 of the recommended dosage and see how they do. and only every 3rd watering.up it a little at a time and keep an eye out for nute burn on the tip's of the leave's. don't measure your growth on what other's are doing. the more you grow the better you'll get. patient's is the key .
