So this journal is more for myself than it is for others. I will do a grow journal for my separate grows. This is more of way for me to keep track of my goals and accomplishments. I have a seed list and I plan on working mostly from this list until the cost of seeds comes back down a little and become more available like they were a year or 2 ago.

I have several strains but many were bought because I was addicted to buying seeds. There are about 1 to 2 dozen strains I am most interested in growing and preserving. I just built a new house so this will be the first time I have really had a good place of my own to grow where I didn't have to worry about a landlord wanting to do an inspection or nosy family members. I will start by listing the top strains I own that I intend to grow.

I have purchased some STS spray online and intend on making my own fem seeds. Also I'd like to use some of my better males from the reg strains to make more reg seeds with fem strains. I think it is good that I am able to make my own seeds if I am not able to make or buy fem seed spray in the future.

How I intend to make my fem seeds. I plan to start 1 or 2 plants a week or 2 early. These will be the plants I spray with sts. Then I will start 1-3 other plants. These should be a couple of weeks behind so I can have pollen from the first 2 plants ready for these later plants. That way I can hit them with pollen when they are prime and hopefully I will avoid immature seeds. The pollen plants will probably get pitched after pollen is collected. I will pollinate a branch from each of the "mother plants" I will keep the seeds from the best mother plant. I'll probably give away all other seeds.
I have never made my own seeds before but I have done a ton of research and spoken with several people who have done it successfully themselves. I feel like I have a solid plan that should work very well.

My dirt recipe for my first grow will be as follows.
1/3 (1/3 Happy Frog & 2/3 Canna Coco)
1/3 (50/50 mix of worm castings & coast of main lobster compost)
1/3 mix of rice hulls, vermiculite and perlite
Will also add 1 tablespoon per gallon Down to earth Bio Live.

First grow will be Rhino Ryder as these were some of the first Seeds I ordered when I started ordering. They should be fine. I keep all my seeds refrigerated.

I am planning to build a grow area downstairs where I can put a 4x4 or 5x5 tent. There is a good chance that I may have to grow in a 2x4 tent in a closet until that is finished.

That was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be... when I had to pick the last 2... knowing several were not going to make the short list.
