Awesome, I am working on something very similar. I also have a Raspberry Pi to add with the Arduino, my hope is that the Raspberry Pi can act as a web server so I can view temp, humidity, etc remotely. Eventually I should also be able to adjust them remotely from a smartphone or computer.

The arduino ethernet shield with sdcard can act as a webserver no need for the pi..
Im building a automatic ph adjuster with a bnc sensor shield /ph probe / dosing pump and some relays for my hydro res.. .
Gonna ad the internet later on so i can monitor and adjust the ph online / remotely
At some point im gonna ad a ec meter to adjust the ec / ppm..
Theese little things are just awesome
