New Grower advice for 1st time grower

so my plants are looking good (my phone isn't connecting to my laptop right now so i cant upload any pictures). They turned 8 weeks on friday and i have a question about flushing. i am using roots organic soil with organic nutrients. any recommendations on when to flush? i've read a week to a week and a half from harvest but since this is my first grow i'm not exactly sure when they will be ready to harvest. thoughts?
plants are 70 days old today. read muddys guide to harvesting and it sounds like like i should wait until i see the leaves turn yellow to harvest. saw another northern lights forum post and the guy said his were harvested just shy of the 90 day mark so i guess i have a ways to go still. they look and smell really good!
