So this will mark my first grow and I had a few questions on my nutrients that I plan on using. Due to trying to save some money on this new venture I've decided to go with botanicare pure blend pro, both grow and Bloom with nearly all their supplements as well.
Pure blend pro grow
Pure blend pro bloom
Cal mag
Hydroguard
Hydroplex
Silica blast
Liquid karma
Sweet raw
And possibly terpenator.

Grown in 5.5gal smart pots with 70%coco and 30 perlite.

My questions are as followed:

1. Finding a schedule that applies to autoflowers And Pure blend pro has been challenging. If anyone has any links to a good pbp schedule that would be most helpful.

2. The few schedules I have found deal little to nothing with the supplements that go along with the grow or bloom. And several articles state that you can use the supplements at full strength with autoflowers? This seems off to a newbie, and surely would drive my ppms through the roof. Example one article I read called for 5ml a gal liquid karma, 5ml a gal hydroguard to treat seedlings. Yet others hardly get above 1ml each weeks into the grow.

It seems that finding a schedule for both the pure blend pro and autoflowers is extremely nuanced. Hopefully I can get something pieced together before I give this a first run.

I'll read anything if you have any solid links and if you take your time to answer or impart some of your botanicare knowledge I'd very much appreciate it.

If you haven't already bought your nutes, why not choose something else that already has a good autos based schedule documented? Like Tangs simple/easy schedule based on AN Perfect PH Bloom (no Grow required) A/B. Supplements are overdrive and carboload. That one is dirt cheap IMO. Probably a lot cheaper than what you are looking at. And you don't have to worry about PH for the most part. Less stress IMO. Especially for a first time grower.

If you have already purchased the Botincare, then you might have to forge your own way on this. Maybe using the principle that autos only need half strength and go from there.

good advice there lunarman even go 1/4 strenght to start off the plants will tell whats up pretty soon @ItbeetsOregano start a grow thread in whichever sectons suits you and you will have plenty of helpfull people stopping by to help you figure this out :d5:

I have used both PBP soil, and hydro, but they were used on phot period plants. I also ran their Kind line, with great success, in both soil and hydro. They make good products, in my experience. As to feeding autos, I don't have anything for you there, except to follow the rule of start out lower than bottle strength, and increase slowly.
Since this is your first run, I would recommend skipping the supplements, except for calmag. I screwed up my first few grows, adding 15 bottles of magic unicorn jizz, to boost this, enhance that, and grow the magic plants I had seen on forums. I had Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, by the time I was done.
Your mileage may vary. Good luck!
Regards, Kyle

I haven't bought anything yet. Both hydro stores near me tried to sell up botanicare on price and concentration, and both had a limited AN supplies. I'll see if I can grab some of tangs supplies, AN prices be damned. If someone does have a cheaper suggestion.

AN can be expensive and that in itself turned me off for a while. But this schedule or program is actually pretty darn affordable. Get the Sensi Bloom A and B in 4 liter jugs. And the carboload and overdrive in 1 liter. Might cost you $100.

And perfect PH is something that is hard to put a $$$ on. But for a newbie it could make your first grow. Whereas manual PH tweaking could break your first grow. That is money right there.

And this schedule is so simple due to the minimal supplement as Kyle mentioned as being a factor. Simple is good. Less is more. I am the last person to recommend or use AN, but check it out man.

You may want to have a look at MegaCrop too. I would be if I was still deciding on what to use nutes but I already bought AN. There is even a free sample of MC you can get to start out with.

Wow, so tangs easy schedule is extremely cheap and looks to have great results. Although the soil he is using isn't available to me in my area. I was planning on using Coco, would a different medium be better to use like pro mix or something? I was looking forward to playing around with coco so if that's still a viable option that would be great. Also I couldn't get the link to work from the maxcrop nuts, free nuts are never bad ;-) thanks for the help guys

Go look at the top of the webpage and go to the product and strain reviews section. The latest review is for the MegaCrop and that is what I was trying to give you a link for. And the free sample code is in the review too.

The Tang AN Simple schedule will work fine with coco. I'm doing mine in coco and 30% perlite. I amended in mycos, biochar and EWC to give the coco a bit of an natural "organics" component. At a minimum I would look at a mycos product for the roots when you are germing and when you transplant or whenever the roots are exposed and accessible to coat them in mycos. That with coco and the simple/easy schedule should be great. Good luck.
