I've been poking around the web looking for a good way to grade weed without using lame clichés like dank, chronic, schwag, kind etc. I saw some A-F grading ideas. I think it's not a bad idea to adopt a universal system for afn. It wouldn't work in the outside world being as its a little subjective and dealers lie.
But for our purposes of building a concrete database of information, which is what I like to think AFN is, would be beneficial for smoke reports, journals etc.

Here's what I'm thinking off the top of my head:

A: beautiful looking, potent, über frosty, tight, colors other than green, lots of orange pistils, stinky. The kind of bud that makes you drool.

B: a lot like A grade but lacking that jaw dropping beauty, green, hints of another color, still tight

C: still potent, fairly frosty, fluffier, green, good smell, maybe not quite as tasty as a or b.

D: fluffy, over dried, not cured well, stemy, a bit harsh, color is not super green, fair potency, stems, maybe a few stray seeds from hermie

F: ( not that anyone here would grow f grade but...) brown dry seeds stem weak no smell burns your throat etc.

At this point it's just a thought, but if there's interest and I get some input for criteria I'll spend some time putting together something concrete that we can use.

Maybe post some bud pics so there'd be a visual reference for each grade
