been looking at air pots and am almost convinced, im using 11ltr square pots at the moment but was thinking about the air pots for my next grow......also my friend told me about fabric pots, according to him they kick the air pots in the ass...anybody with experience please feel free to leave your two cents :) cheers

DSCF2029.jpg This is from an air pot.I have been using them for quite awhile and would not go back to reg pots

great thread!!!! even during my 1st grow its good to realise plastic pots are shit in comparison to smart pots...thank you :)

definitley airpots - they' robust, easy to handle and do thier job great.
I am now using them as an inner container for a hempy bucket construction - fabric would rot :-)
But it's just my second time I use them, but I would never ever swap them ...but hey, any optimization is welcome :-)

Cheers

I use 2 gallon airports. 12inch high(minimum recommend height by mossy) and water in my storagetub. My .8 gallon airports performed equal to my 2 gallon smart pots(fabric) so my last 2 grows i upgraded to 2 gal.

I'm growing in a 80x80x160..I was hoping to use five 3gal pots, i know this is probably overambitious coz I need to have a space for my oscilating fan on the ground aswell, I'd be happy with 2gal pots but if i can fit the 3gal pots in then obviously i would go for them, i just need measurements of the diameter of the pots...thanks again

hey boy - go to 3gal and stick to 3-4 plants !!
that will work it out.

in my star ryder experience I had one smaller airpot, and as hazy showed my, It'wasnt the soil, that kept that one small, so I think it was the pot-size ;-)

Cheers
