Good morning everyone!
We've seen quite a community of growers on Facebook and we wanted to implement an "ease of access" point for them to join the forum and our discussions!
What this means is that where you normally login on the forum, you have the OPTION (emphasis on option, it's not a requirement) to login using your Facebook credentials instead (or to create a new account using your Facebook credentials for the password.)
This is the information the application we created requests:
Name, profile pic, e-mail address.
If you are attempting to log in using an e-mail address already registered on the forum, there are instructions for associating the account.
If you do not have an account already, it will pull your e-mail from the Facebook login, you choose a username for the forum, filled out DOB, and agree to the TOU.
Once you click sign up, the account goes into manual verification for us to approve, and you're in!
Again, there is absolutely zero obligation to use this feature if you are anti-facebook or concerned about privacy from your Facebook accounts. This simply allows FB users to join the forum more easily!
