Old Reviews Any AN nutes/supps NOT recommended?

I second 912..... and for the hard core LED guys running daily feed schedules and blind the plants up like crazy the amount of cal mag I have to use is 2 to 2.5 ml per liter when in stretch and early bloom. So if my cal mag had to run that high to keep from spotting up and early yellowing I would probably get leaf curl from the added N and also burnt tips.

But lowering the dose only gets me a cal or mag def plant....

Now using the GMB ypu can drop the grow a little as well as the micro to offset that. But lowering base nutes to Cover something you can avoid seemed counter active to me.

I use general organics cal/mag sup 0-0-0

I fully agree that lowering base nutes is counter productive.
I have to find a source of general organics cal/mag. I will have to check out local stores...I also would like to try green planet massive and terpinator on a few plants this summer(using AN Connoseiur base nutes)

I had issues with the AN CalMag.

I was adding it to combat a CalMag lockout, from Nitrogen toxicity.
BUT, the 4-0-0 of the AN CalMag was adding to the N toxicity, so pretty much self defeating.
Just based on my experience, I'm still trying to source General Organics CaMg+ which is 0-0-0.

Also echoing the earlier post ... Bud Factor X seems to be over-rated, and overpriced.
When I was restocking at my regular Grow Shop, we were discussing which ones to have, and which ones not to have.
I was 'strongly recommended' to ALWAYS include Bud Ignitor, but to drop Bud Factor X as it didn't make any noticeable difference.

The only other thing I'd add/recommend is AN's Revive.
It is my 'go to' first aid kit, and I'll always have it on hand, just in case.

Really bud ignitor! That's not one too many people use...you guys find it pretty handy for early bud formation? I am on the fence about using some extra Foxfarm Open Sesame powder with my outdoor girls when I see some preflower....probably just go for it once I see the first preflower set in. ;)

Yeah.
Bud Ignitor.

I was surprised, but if they were making money driven fake recommendations, they would have steered me towards the Bud Factor X, which pretty much requires a second mortgage!

I've never used it before, so it's a leap of faith into the great unknown.

No problems with high N here. I use N CalMagX, but only add it on top of base nutes for my very big photo.

I feed alternating base nutes + boosters and minerals. My garden is lushing.

Hmmm - not sure.
From memory it's 1-0-0 ... Is that correct?

I think there are better treatments for N-tox.

My view on Revive is it is for 'first aid' and triage, not for specific surgery.
