I've been into vaping with ecigs for the past 2 years and just got into mechanical mods with DIY coil wrapping. It's like a fun science project and you're in full control of your ohms output. Same goes with DIY ejuice/eliquids. Make your own even without nicotine. Just vape for vapes sake. Feel like puff the magic dragon.

I haven't seen any vaper threads on here, so if you don't know about it and you smoke cigs, I highly recommend getting into mechanical mods.

As for liquids, yes you don't need nicotine. Personally I vape at 4-6mg and I make my own liquids using flavor extracts mixed with 80% Kosher Grade Vegetable Glycerin and 20% Propylene Glycol. You can nix out PG for distilled water as well.

I haven't touched a cig in around 2 years and I was at a pack a day for 7 years.

****With a special tank, coil and wick setup, you can vape thc concentrate oils. I've been wanting to try a vegetable glycerin tincture with mine but I'll have to wait until my next harvest.

Anyway, here's what I've been using so far.

Left: iTaste VV with mini protank
Right: Sentinel M16 mechanical mod with RSST pyrex tank, coil built at .7 ohms with stainless steel mesh wick. Produces HUGE vapor clouds.

my problem is i cant smoke now regular tobaco cannabis joints and i cant find a way to prepare my glycerine based (potent) thc tincture. my first attempt is very light.

I smoked for 18y+ and quit. I tried all possible ways (cig,tabaco,sigares,e-cig,self grown tabaco,.....). Now if I want to smoke or just vape for vapes sake. Feel like puff the magic dragon. I use my vaparisator and smoke only weed. If I need to go to work I smoke some light weed . E-cig are fun, but I think there is some harm behind it (glucol). Maybe I'm wrong

good to see ya round Vik:Sharing One: I got a "totally wicked" e-cig for xmas & love it ...not stopped baccy completely yet ,but seriously cut down .Its usually got 36mg of nicotine & I still overheat the plastic caps on the tank until it leaks ....other than that its awesome

looking into making some THC oil for that or other e-cigs / vape pens & have a micro-G pen on the way for smoking what will hopefully be full melt bubble

plan on grabbing a cloupor cloutank for dry bud ASAP & am watching loads of mods & tanks on ebay to make smoking bud & hash on the go stealthily ...there great lol ...I love me gadgets & these things are healthy gadgets .Was thinking of starting a thread about them in the accessories section ...would be good to hear & see what others think of there cigs,put up pics & reviews ect ....im likeing the idea of 1 pen with 3 tanks ...1 for bud , 1 for hash / oil & 1 for eliquid infused with THC .

Both baccy and canna... Also have a micro g vape pen for concentrates... Still like my shredded leaves and flowers though. Mostly because it's less costly and for some reason I'm able to tune out how dangerous and unhealthy it is. I love your rig though. It's shiny. ;]

Now that being said, in an ideal world I'd be able to vape whenever where ever without fear of being stigmatized as a drug user... even though by classical definition I'm totally all of that. Also concentrates would be cheaper and certified pure... no residues or leftover chems for me to inhale.

The irony is I do most of my smoking/vaping to improve the quality of my life. Whether it's for creative inspiration or stress reduction, I smoke and vape a lot. Pity it's also a might bit unhealthy at this point. Smoking, that is. Vaping is considerably less so. Anyway, thought I'd share my methods and experience. Nice thread homie.

how do you plan on making the THC glyserin Vick ?... seen a couple vids of it done with ground up trim but thought theres gotta be a way of infusing bubble hash / ice wax & make it a lot more concentrated ?.Just ideas right now but will be putting a lot of popcorn bud aside with all the trim .

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic guys, It's been on my mind to experiment with this to come up with the best method while making it enjoyable and stealthy at the same time. Before I get into it, I just want to say that some people are allergic to PG (propylene glycol) and some people can inhale it in higher concentrations without any problems. In the use of Ejuice, it is a flavor carrier. It is mixed in with VG (vegetable glycerin) in ratios that cater to what the smoker wants, for example; more flavor and a harsher throat hit is attributed to a higher PG ratio such as 20% PG/80% VG and vice versa for BIG vapor clouds, less throat hit and minimal flavor. The flavor is still there with higher VG, it just requires time to steep and there are actually ways to do that in a day or 2 without having to wait for 2 weeks (thanks reddit users). I'll get into that after I discuss the method I was thinking of to incorporate THC into the enjoyable flavor of ejuice, without nicotine and without the smell of weed..

Notes: This mixture will work best in a VV (Variable volt), Mechanical Mod, or RBA (rebuildable atomizer) Genesys style or Dripper with LOW resistance. Low resistance paired with 3.7v will create more heat, creating more vapor which will help carry the THC. I personally vape around .8 ohms of resistance on a 3.7v Mechanical Mod battery. If you don't know about these, google is your friend. But ask me anyway and I will point you in the right direction.

YMMV in a standard ego style E-cig. DO NOT use plastic tanks!! Get a Pyrex Genesys Style or a Dripper such as the Trident Atomizer.

You WILL have to build your own coils and setup your wicks. This gives you control on your ohms resistance and allows you to experiment with different types of wicks such as, stainless steel mesh, silica, cotton, ceramic, XC-116.

For the application of THC into the ejuice, I would prefer a ceramic, stainless steel mesh, or XC-116 wick paired with 28 gauge Kanthal Resistance Wire for the coil.

Method:
(****ALL SPECULATION. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. But please share how it went) ***Gathered all of this info from reading into the subject for months on the net and seeing how other users got their methods working.


[*]Create a Green Dragon Tincture with PGA (Pure grain alcohol) 190proof Everclear or equivalent. 80 proof vodka will work, just give it more time to steep

• You want to mix at least .5-1g of high grade herb per 1oz of alcohol (Decarb the bud before mixing into alcohol)
• Add mixture to a DARK dropper bottle (light degrades THC) and let sit for 5 days. Shake every day.

[*]Prepare flavored Ejuice for 10ml dropper

• My personal favorite ratio is 80/20 VG/PG but experiment with it
• Mix flavors at 5%-10% flavor to create a total of 20% flavor
• Add 7% (15 drops) PGA Green Dragon to the ejuice mixture
• Shake that shit violently
• Use Ejuice calculator to help with ratios
  
• Or just buy a 10ml bottle of ejuice and add 15 drops to it. BUT PROCEED WITH THE NEXT STEP. You MUST let the alcohol evaporate before vaping!!!

• Usually, you would want to let this mixture steep for a week before use, but thanks to reddit users experiments, you can add some shallow water to a slow cooker, set it on KEEP WARM (NOT LOW), place a small cup in the crock pot and place your bottle of ejuice mixture into this cup with the cap O to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
  
• The alcohol should evaporate in the warmth within 12-24 hours and this will bring the flavors together in the mixture. If you still smell alcohol or taste it, repeat the process. As the alcohol evaporates, it will leave the THC behind. Shake before use.
  
• Experiment with the amount of green dragon drops to your tolerance level

If this method doesn't work then I will resort to an aged Glycerin tincture but I have confidence that this should work. I'll have to try it asap with my setup.

If anyone tries this, please report back. I may create a new thread with the above tutorial + pictures once I get it started.

Also, even if this doesn't work, you just made yourself a potent green dragon tincture. Drop 1ml under your tongue and hold it there for 30secs then swallow or mix it into drinks and you'll be in space for a few hours.

I've been wondering about this too. They sell evape canna oil in the dispensaries in Colorado, so somebody must have a formula, unless they are keeping it secret! I looked at the dry herb vapes and $500 for a Volcano is just stupid, and I'm not convinced that any of the dry herb pens/pocket vape pipes either actually vape the material without burning any, or if the do, the temps are so poorly controlled that your not getting half of whats there to vape! Oil is really the way to go! I gladly buy a custom vape pen if I could make a viable oil for it, but I don't want to tinker to get a pen to work either. I just want to vape my herb, I have enough projects, don't need one more lol! Great report, and I look forward to seeing you find us a useful vape recipe! :Sharing One:
