Grow Room Any Suggestions on these Grow Room Components?

Alright, I'd like to poll the collective here to see if there are any upgrade suggestions. These components put me in more or less right where I want to be budget-wise, but if there is something I'm missing (quality-wise or component-wise) please let me know before I go placing any orders. (I've included the relevant Amazon links for all the components so that the details can be examined if necessary)

Tent: VIVOSUN 2'x4'x5'
Fan/Filter Combination: 4" Inline Fan/Ducting/Filter/Therm Combo Kit

Lights: For the lights, I have two options in the beginning. 1) go with a single 600W LED and then add another 600W LED down the road. 2) start with 2 300W LEDs and then add more 300W LEDs or even a 600W LED down the road.

Like I said, this keeps me in my budget range of around $300 for the initial setup. That way the wife won't be too angry with my initial expenditure. So if you have any suggestions, or see anything wrong with the components I've chosen, or know of something better that keeps me close to my price range, please let me know!

300 total for the entire setup or 300 just for lights?

If Cobs aren't an option then I would go with the 2 600w

Then you're on the right track, my best advice is to wait until your budget gets bigger. You're going to end up upgrading everything you plan on purchasing.

You can surely get started with the components you have listed though

Upgrading everything? Why do you say that? I'd think at least that the tent would be good for years. Are the filter/fan combo that bad of quality?

You'll want more space, better light. Cheap components tend to be just that, cheap. They may last years they may last days. None of the components you've selected are bad but eventually you'll want better.

Thanks for the input from everyone. I ended up going with a 2'x'4'x5' tent from VIVOSUN, and my own home-made LED lighting fixture (1600W light array, 224W actual draw). I still have yet to order the fan/filter combo and a few other components, but it's looking like my total cost for the first grow, including soil, nutrients, etc. will be $325, which isn't bad at all.

I'm also planning on using a wifi-enabled smart outlet as my timer rather than a normal mechanical timer. The cost is almost identical and I like that I'll be able to control/monitor from my phone. I'll post photos once the setup is finished and the grow begins.

This isn't nearly the issue it used to be, but make sure your smart switch will carry the load. I have one that is rated at 500w and 4.16 amps. Not enough to carry my light and exhaust. It would run, but could be a fire issue.

I understand. Mine is only being utilized for the light, and it's rated for 10A and 1100W, so I'm well within those ratings.
