Hi the leaves if my blue Pyramid have been developing brown patches that spread then the leaf curls upwards goes a rusty colour all over some of the older fan leaves have completely died. I thought Maby magnesium deficiency so have watered with Epsom salts and sprayed with a 2 percent solution. I have not seen any improvement since. I may be expecting it to sort itself out to quick my ph has been between 6.5 and 7 the hole grow but I think I have been overnuting a fair bit using biobizz organic nutes.

is anyone able to confirm this is magnesium deficient and has anyone had experience in how long it will take to recover if it will atall.

Also would you recommend a flush I haven't flushed once during the grow and am considering could be a build up of Nute in the soil

cal/mag def for sure, maybe a lil P dep too. The spots never go away, it's permanent. The way you check to see if the plant is recovering is no new spots show up. Do you mind if I ask how you're measureing your ph?

One of my NL started doing that at 4 weeks and I thought it was cal/mag....ended up the dang thing was just hungry, so I upped her feedings and she is banging along now.

i use a guardman ph meter i think its called it a cheap one and i dont trust it to much it isnt digital thats why say 6.5 to 7 as the dial is alway between that. i measure the water then measure after mixing nutes. also measure runoff and is always between 6.5 and 7 usually closer to 7. its just since i added the epsom salts it has continued to get worse. wich made me consider manganese deficiency what you think?

and i was considering this kushaddict as it has started as the buds started swelling and using more nutes i guess. just doesnt seem to be showing any npk deficiencys i can see did yours just start with the brown patches or where there other signs of deficiencys?

thanks for the quick responces really apreciate it

i am concerned about the acuracy of my ph meter and will be getting a decent one soon as well as an ec meter and some other better kit. but i have a few other plants going some older some younger and none of them are having these issues. this leads me to think that this particular strain has a slighlty different requirment than my others. its hard to compare tho as i only have one of this strain growing atm.

Yup, that meter is trash. Used one just like it at first and regret ever getting it. The wizard Goauto showed you is what i have as well, a great tool.

The first meter i ever got was the same one , good old home depote..... What a mistake, cost me in more ways then money.

Yes mine started out as brown and rust spots....i flushed to try and correct ph because thats what i thought it was.....then the whole plant started to yellow and turn lime green....about that time they were 4 weeks old. I use ffof soil so I didnt want to over feed them but infact thats what they wanted was more food. It takes awhile for results to kick in and plant to get better. Like everyone said the damage that was done wont change its just the new growth you have to worry about.

as is well into flowering its just buds fattening now no new leaves so cant really analyze new growth. there is no signs of this on the buds them selves and there still fattening up.. im gettin a new ph meter tmos so will double check ph, if there is no ph issue i think your right and will be hungry because since i dialled down the nutes thinking nute burn has got worse just didnt want to do another proper feed until had my new ph meter. thanks for the help everyone.
