High Guys im doing my first grow with cfls, but im starting to save for an LED or Two now and looking into some lights i was wondering if anyone was familiar with there products and if they are reliable? i know that make Hps and others lights too.

I just purchased the Apollo 600w HID. I saw some of their.LEDs but decided to keep things simple with a tried and true HID.

I have just finished my grow using GN leds and honestly I can say it works!
Getting 0.8-1.0g/watt can be done using normal methodes!

Grownothern you say? is there a link to them in there thread? i will go check

Ok im going to need some advice here if you dont mind guys, i was under the impression that more wattage its better, or is that just for cfls? Could it be that the lumen output of Leds is so high that there is no need for a high wattage?

*(not trying to sound like a broken record)im growing 3 plants with cfls for my first grow, but plan on switching to LEDs and moving up to 4-5plants by my second(if ive saved enough money by then) do i need more lighting for this?

The 300w stated is a little deceiving on the Apollo there seems to be 80 3w chips which doesn't add up you also have to take into account those 3w chips won't be run at full power more like 2w so that light with have an actual power draw of around 160w maybe a little more because of the fans.

Nice advice, i didnt have a clue. Do you mind helping me find what kind of light im looking for? my space is 3f/90cm x 2.5f/76cm x 4.5f/137cm.
Height wise i can go as high as 6 maybe 7 ft but under 5ft is good for now. let me know if you need to know any more info
