found a couple seeds in a bubblelicious autoflower, they seem good dark green with blackish stripes n shit. if i grow them will they be females or hermies? i want to grow this strain again and just planted the last seed i have so i was planning on buying more anyway. will these seeds be female or should i just buy some more from attitude? i can afford new seeds but if i already have 2 more theres no point yet lol. thanks

The Plant you grew was a hermie? if so, then most likely they will to be hemie from what ive seen around the site.

often they are females , but not always , and often they will be females that also hermie

peace

I'd grow em if your short on seed an the mama was dank
I agree with bob, they should be fems, with some Herman's.
Grew alot of Herman seed none ever hermaned?
An they smoked just fine.
Idk
Lol

But breeding with em is not advised.

Is the only way a female produce seeds is if shes turns hermie? its kinda hard to tell if we dont know if your plant went hermie or if just some pollen fallen on her.

There's a high chance of them being female. There's also a high chance of them herming much, much easier. I've grown T.H Seeds Kushage and it hermed up, I let it run and tried growing some of the seeds out afterwards.. Out of 8 seeds, 7 were female one was herm off the bat. By finish only 1 didn't herm back up, I culled the others on the way to harvest.. Smoke was far less potent than the mother as well, that's worth noting.. obviously it's a small sample size only growing 8 seeds, but 7 of them being hermorphadite is a pretty convincing number for me. If I get a herm now, I cull it early regardless of how good the final product is supposed to be. Make sure post harvest you wipe down your walls, containers, etc. Spray with room temperature tap water to sterilize residual pollen. After that Kushage I had 3-4 more plants wind up with seeds here and there throughout from rogue pollen that floated around.

thanks for the replys. it is deffinately a hermie, i will save the seeds as a souveneir of my first hermie but i wont grow them, ill just order some more lol. i have a purple cheese 3 weeks into flower in the same tent, im assuming itll also be fertilized? will those seeds be feminized? will i have created my own auto bubblelicious/purple cheese cross lol? the weed is still pretty damn good, at first i was pissed at findin seeds but it doesnt bother me now lol. maybe it would if it was the last of my smoke but i still have a nice amount & the purple cheese will be ready in a monthish :D

Why can't you grow hermie seeds? High risk of mutations/sterile or no flowers?

From my understanding - The easiest way to understand why they're not worth it is you think of it as inbreeding, when you inbreed you're strengthening what're referred to as recessive genes. The best example of this would be if two closely related blood humans were to mate and down syndrome, genetic mutations, blindness, whatever runs in their family.. All of the diseases their ancestors experienced will be more prominent and at a higher risk to occur to them. Think of a hermie seed as the same way. More prone to hermie, more prone to produce that "bad" pheno, etc.

Using the seeds from cross fertilization doesn't cause as many problems as growing out the actual seeds on the self fertilized plant. Using the pollen or the offspring is still advised against and is NOT a good idea to use as a staple or even take up plant space in a limited grow. You're less likely to have recessive genes come out if the pollen hit another female and that lady produced seeds. The chance of hermie would still be significantly higher than if you were to cross a female and a male of the same two strains.
