One chemdog, plant on right, is 5 days out of ground and the other is a Canuk sweet tooth auto and is two days up. Tent is 39"X39"X70" (Mars) with a 6 inch clip-on fan for circulation and a 6 inch duct booster fan (240 cfm) with carbon filter for extraction/filtration. Two 3 gallon (13 liters?) air pots with about 10l Black Gold potting soil, 2l perlite, 1 cup lime and 4 teaspoons of dio.. white stuff with the last teaspoon worked into the top two inches of soil. I lost one chemdog seed because I still can't get watering right, maybe I will try a seed starter block next. The results from soil vs peat (pro-mix) are too good to give up. Nice things about peat and coco is it's hard to overwater and no bugs. Fox Farm nutes with advanced cal/mag and superthrive. Lights are 4 four foot T5's on the sides with agromax pure veg bulbs and one Mars reflector 96 at about 25 inches above the seedlings. I will turn off the T5's if temps get too high. I expect both plants to be small, less than 24 inches, with about 40-50 grams yield. Now that I have two tents I can grow plants for taste and power and not care too much about yield. Also I am thinking of putting more light in this tent, another reflector 96? cobs? If I grow smaller plants I can grow more strains with more light at the same time, have more fun.

Eleven days and seven days since they popped and the chemdog got some, 2 qts, cal/mag (3ml/gal) and 8-10 drops of superthrive on day nine and the sweet tooth got, 1 qt, of just superthrive on day five. Day 14 will be the first FF feeding for the chemdog, if everything looks good I will do the same for the sweet tooth. Light is at 28 inches, four T5's on 20/4 schedule.

Day 17 for the CD and 13 for the sweet tooth, both plants took their first feeding well. The CD is kicking ass, already wider than the pot. The CD got 4ml big bloom, 1ml each grow big, kangaroots, microbebrew, comeback and wholly mackrel at 6.6 ph on day 14 and 3ml cal/mag and 8-10 drops superthrive at 6.7 ph today, the sweet tooth got her first FF feeding today also (same as CD). The CD is showing sex already and branching looks very good. I don't want to be mean but if this is the best Canuk seeds can do maybe they should drop autos and stick to photos. The canuk seed was free but if things don't improve with this first feeding this is last of their seeds I put in my tent.

Day 22 for the CD, (right), and 18 for the Canuk sweet tooth auto. The sweet tooth seems to have taken my hint and gotten some growth and improved color. The chemdog is doing great with nice branches, color and stem. I am giving a gallon of 4ml big bloom with 2ml each of grow big, microbebrew, kangaroots, wholly mackrel, kelp me and comeback at 6.8 ph yesterday and will give cal/mag and superthrive in a few days. Next week I hope to be able to water/feed every other day, FF than cal/mag than FF, and clean with sledgehammer around day 40.

looking great  growing a weed should be easy, but it can take us a while to get into the swing of things, then a lil while more to get our grow dialed in.
im seeing good things here, keep it up.
:pighug:

Day 29, CD, and 25 for the st with the chemdog starting to get some good vertical growth. The sweet tooth is not showing buds yet and that has me worried, photo?

Day 34 for the CD, right, and day 30 for the sweet tooth. The CD is growing just like Auto Seeds said and should be ready by this time next month. The CD is growing at about one inch per day, now 19 inches, and the St is having a bit of a spurt and is now 17 inches. The bud sites on the CD look great and I think the St is about to auto flower (I hope) and both are accepting their nutes well. Most of the Auto Seeds plants I have grown so far stop vertical growth around day 40-42, I don't know about Canuk Seeds, maybe longer. Anyway next week I will start giving some beastie bloomz (1/16 tsp) and get some bud building really going, I hope. It looks like both plants are going to be closer to 30 inches than 24 inches, which is a good thing, I think... The reflector 96 seems to be doing well and I think I will get another one and try 4 small plants in this tent.

Day 39 for the chemdog (right) and day 35 for the sweet tooth (left). Both have good color and growth and the sw may just be auto flowering, I guess. The CD has stopped vertical growth (21 inches) and has visible resin so today she got a gallon of 5 ml sledgehammer and 5 ml comeback. The sweet tooth is listed to be between 50 and 60 cm but I read a review that had one at 44 inches so I am trying to keep her short.

Day 43, chemdog, and 39, sweet tooth (left) and I guess I need to eat my words about Canuk Seeds the sweet tooth is really taking over. The chemdog (right) has taken the sledgehammer and the first round of bloom nutes well. Resin is starting to cover everything. The sweet tooth has resin but you need a glass to see it so vertical growth is still happening, I think. I don't tie my girls very often but this time seems right. I will start cleaning up the lower parts and removing a few leaves to help fatten the top colas. So far I have grown candy kush, mig 29, sucker punch, kush doctor and now chemdog and every one has been a winner.
