Problem: leaves on the upper portion of plant arpund forming buds and colas are becoming discolored and starting to show rust spots. The discoloring is light green now.

Medium: pro mix bx...in 5 gal pots with 1 tbs/gal dolomite added


Feed: currently @ 2ml/L Advanced nutrients grow/micro / bloom I flushed about 5 or 6 days ago so I re introduced voodoo juice for this and next week also 2ml/L and just started AN big bud @ the same 2ml/l... she gets 2 liters a day each 2 liters has app 1.5 ml cal/mag and is ph fed @ 6.2


Strain:short stuff seeds, auto spanish diesel


Climate: grown under 600 w metal halide then switched to HPS when flowering began. Temp 78 hi 69lo Rh 60 percent

atrain-- ...Hmm, might be a couple things here, bud,... the spots look like early Ca defc. but the yellowing isn't usually part of the pattern of symptoms,... can you get me a nice whole plant pic? I want to assess the size, color and positioning, etc.,...you mentioned it's upper that are affected, so I'm thinking something immobile, like Fe, S, Zn,... likely, the flush purged any extra's, and you're feeding on the light side--? I'm not that familiar with AN nute's regime,... do you have an in-medium pH reading too?

I'll work on the medium ph I don't water til run off but I'll work something out.... and as far as the feeding I'm at 1/2 the reccomended dose on bottle but most don't even run that much. But I have no signs of burning I could go a little heavier.

As you can see its not bad yet but I would like to try and head it off. She's 28 inches tall

:smoking: good pic, very nice plant atrain! ... yeah, that's better,...affected leaves on top look like possible Zn defc., pretty common as far as micronutrient defc.'s go,.. given your lighter feeding, and the size/demand of this lush girlie, I'm surprised you didn't have issues sooner! I think I see a little Mg defc. lower down too, which can happen, even when you're adding extra-- some plants are just hogs about this! ... time to up your nute's to full strength, increasing in a couple steps, just to see how she reacts,... full dose of Ca-Mg, and a dedicated micronutrient product is the ticket for this,...Earth Juice Microblast, GreenAll Fe-Mn-Zn-Cu, uhhh,..LOL! I forget the names-- you can call your local horticultural supply place and ask, or look around garden centers/nurseries for something,... fert's, and some other products have micro's in them, but sometimes you don't want all the other extra stuff, just what's needed,...

Thanks for the help brother..... I think most of those should be covered in the micro element of the three step process I'll just take her up from 2ml/L to 3 and see how things go and I'll also up my dose of cal mag for her.
