Can someone please share information on why you can't take clones from an autoflower?

Its like a countdown timer, determinate growth that stops once a genetically pre-determined structure has completely formed. Cuttings would carry the same timer as the plant it came from.

Basically, if you take a cutting, it won't develop branches, etc. You'll have one branch with one bud.

It would make the same bud as if it were on the plant, only less than you would have by not cutting it due from the stress and time making roots
