Thinking I'ma gonna try a diy exhaust fan using a car heater fan and the air box assembly it comes in for my diy carbon filter . Don't see why it wouldn't work since the motor is constant use, decent cfm,and can do so under load. For example if you turn your car heater on and close all the vents it still pushes air. Also it's a 12 volt system so it's easily adaptable. I have an auto salvage yard right close and can pick up the whole unit for 10$ I'd this works I'll post a diy for those interested.

Noise might be an issue unless you get the fan from a Rolls.

Sent from my comfy chair.

Sounds interesting. Never wrong to repurpose. Though, if you plan to drive the closet, you will need a special license and I can get that for you at the low cost of $500.
