Best coco?

Im use to growing in soil but wanting to use coco this time around. Ive seen many grows with just pure coco and no perlite.

Looking for suggestions of which coco brand to use? Thats avail in the UK!

Im thinking just canna terra coco and adding my own perlite

plagron / canna / ecothrive all good choices iv used with and without perlite if your using pots under 8 liters i would use straight coco any bigger id like to put some perlite in it thats just my personal choice
will you you be feeding to runoff ?

Yes ill be feeding until run off.
I'm thinking of adding perlite so it dries out quicker.

Im unsure how im gonna feed yet with coco. With soil, i tend to feed once a week with nutrients and water inbetween when dry.

But with coco, im thinking just water for the first 3 weeks without run off. Then when i reach the 3rd week, i will feed once or twice a week with nutrients and run off to prevent salt build up. When dry, water inbetween with slight run off?

What do you think? I dont wanna over feed them and end up with salt build ups. That shit is a real pain in the ass. Took me 2 grows to learn from that in soil

Will be using 15l pots btw. I usually acheive 3-4oz avg in soil with 15l pots. But i over watered during those grows.

This is my 4th grow now. And i wanna use coco for better yields tbh. Plus, if i end up with lockout, its much easier to fix in coco because it dries out a lot quicker

i wait till the plant is to the edges of the pot to water till runoff then its every 2nd day till i think it can be watered every day 20% runoff is what to aim for when you do water i treat mine like hydro

Feed twice a week with nutrients. And water until 10% run off to get rid of any old nutrients in the medium. Rinse and repeat with larger ppms as the weeks go on.

What do you think of that plan?

I want to push these ladies but don't want to burn them or lockout

canna coco is great I've used a lot of brands but id say their coco is more trusted than any other for canna i also buy coco/clay pebble mix same brand again

you will figure it out as you go the plants will tell you how much they want 10% is not enough 20% minimum im hesitant to give you exact details as im in the middle of rethinking how i do things myself so i dont want to send you wrong follow man o greens grow threads you will pick up alot of great info about feeding plants
