I have seen these on youtube the guy calls our lights kiddy lights he uses spectrum instead of par. they are well built and alminum body will take some water too if hit by mistake but way over priced imo

I don't know about over priced... i mean if your looking for a light to just get the job done then sure its on the expensive side. IF (thats a big if) the claims he is making is true... 1200 bucks don't seem that bad

I think for the price you could do better or the same with other leds and cover more space lol ..They sound good though.

HAHA right, "they sound good" thats the kicker, do you want to be the first to jump into the pond? Cause lets face it, grow room space and setup is valuable, and messing with your setup with new things and not getting the outcome you wanted or an outcome of less then you normally do... is a really annoying

They are a well built light built in the U.S.A. with outsourced parts from china quality is there. The real biggy is aluminum body no oxidization that will happen after time with lower priced units. But the led growing light movement is in full force forward momentum in the tech end of things alot of new things hitting the market. In a market like this i would rather stay a step behind until it the tech flattens out a bit I have 1000 watts of true led and 355 watt for back up all for around the price of one of those lights and not one problem so far knock on wood. If I was just oozing money I would give it a try but

Fairlynew, what brand of LED is that? I bought a cheap one off Ebay that was called 400W but has actual draw of 180W. And at $139 I think is was well worth the money!

the claims on their ad seem a little exaggerated.125000 lumens from 400 watts would require 100% efficiency from the diodes and drivers and no power use by the cooling system.the spectrum seems to contain more yellow and green light than plants can use. wildly exaggerated claims by a grow light makes should send up red flags for most buyers.you can get the same spectrum using a mix of warm and cool white diodes with a few 430nm diodes mixed in but even CREE doesn't claim that kind of efficiency even in experimintal diodes thet are not on the market yet.if you do decide to buy this light and have a little extra cash left I have some ocean front property in Arizona I can let you have cheap:xlaugh:
