Leave them in their breeders packs if you have them, if not put the in marked ziplock bags, put those in a mason jar and put them in the freezer. I store mine that way and they stay viable for years.

I keep mine in the freezer and I'v heard they last years.... I have some 2 years old that I germed last week. And freezing them is a good practice it mimics winter and kinda lets them know it's time to grow.

Welcome to AFN, the best MJ site on the net. I keep mine in the low humidity drawer of my fridge. Just harvested some that had been in there a year and will plant more in a week or two. Take your time and ask questions, spend time and money getting set up. Only buy what you will use and understand. A good ph tester is a must, Hanna checker ($35) works for me. If you want easy, grow in soil, if you want max yeild go hydro. I use led but some people think you get better yeilds from the big lights. Big grow pot bigger plant, I use 3gal bags because I grow in a small tent. Every grow will teach you something different. The people at this sit have helped me every grow and will help you too.
