I've had a lot of posts about my plants having problems with my pH levels.

My plants are 5 weeks old now. I'm growing in FFOF and Light Warrior.

My pH has been everywhere and now i finally have them around 6.4 to 6.0. But they seem to keep getting worse.

I have flushed my 5 gallon pots with 10 gallons of pHed water and they still seem to be getting worse.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with them and how to fix it.

The leaves are turning a crap yellow and then getting rust spots and drying out.

I've used CalMag I've flushed I got my pH back to normal.

My original post is in the new growers forum under Please Help pH and PPM.

Thanks guys

Moore. Understand. Looks like lock out because of the PH swing. Using soil indoors was difficult for me at the beginning. Have experienced your frustrations many times.

If you have flushed, and now have a good handle on the PH the plants will slowly turn around.

Look at the new growth. If it is green and healthy--then, you made it. The old growth will be cosmetically challenged and you will see some leaves sections dry up and eventually new growth will take up the slack.

At this point, most would say begin feeding lightly until it gets its self going again.

Cheers

Thanks man. I have some newer pics I'm gonna upload. I have no service tho. If for some reason they aren't better what should I do. .. flush again.

This will affect my yield pretty bad won't it

Moore--your welcome. Believe it takes a few days before you will see if new growth looks good.

Would make sure to lightly feed as you are doing. Water with just ph water if you feel plant is still upset.

No, the yield won't drop a great deal, but, it may delay maturity some. I have had worse looking plants early on and the yield was very high.

Sometimes the ph/lock out shock will produce a few male flowers. So, don't be alarmed if it happens. The bud will be good, regardless, even if some seeds are here and there. The good news is your plant is--not nearly, in as bad a shape as mine have been--lol.

Just check back here and add your photos.
Someone will be in to check them out.

Cheers.

Please do NOT water the gals any more:.. At least let them dry out a bit and give them a couple of days... Ya know how them ladies can be... Shy sometimes.... They like their privacy for a little bit ;) than Id say definitely next watering you want some light nutes in there to help give her back some strength... Though the MOST IMPORTANT thing you MUST do is to try and restore the bennies you flushed out...
Not sure if you use any root enhancers or not bit Great White is a great one... The Advanved Nutrients root building system (you can find voodoo piranha and tarantula in a 500ml bundled cheap if you look ;) ) and a host of other similar products... When you were flushing and correcting the ph all "the good stuff" in your soil was being washed away... You now want to try and slowly restore it ;) sending you a big :karma Cloud: for your gals

:stylez rasta smoke:

Thanks guys I'm gonna try to upload these pics.

It was 3 days after the flush I watered with 1 gallon water with 1 tsp calmag and 1/4grow big and 1tbsp big bloom. The water pH was 6.3.

I still think a couple of them are still locked out. The leaves are still getting light green with dead rust spots on them. I don't know what to do.

Moore--looking good.

Some of us are still having trouble viewing photos. See now that your plant is really not bad at all.

Cheers

good leafs aren't gonna get better.sounds like u might have fixed the problem.sit back and have patience now don't get frantic and overfeed.newer leafs look fine to me.if ur runnin foxz farm nutes good thing to have is sledgehammer flush and boomerang for after u flush helps bring her around a little quiker

:tiphat:...hey bro'! ....Sorry about the troubles- :cuss: LOL!
....Anytime the soil pH and nute' defc. get tangled, it's harder on the plant, and to diagnose and treat; plain lack of is one thing, but possible lock-out due to pH is more tricky; So, you say the soil pH is in the low 6's? great!- some further progression of symptoms is expected when the roots are traumatized, and aren't their usual absorbing 'selves...the plant will still try to translocate what mobile nutes it can to meet demands elsewhere, making it look like things are still wack, but it takes time (days) for nutes to get absorbed from soil and up to where it's needed most...

...sounds good, especially the Ca-Mg, as that's what it top pics look like to me,... All this watering can make for soggy soil too,... what are you using? And can you tell us how loaded the soil is with moisture? [Soggy cuts down gas exchange, so if they are super heavy with retained water, set them on something absorbent and soft, that will make contact with the soil itself and get some capillary draw going to bleed out the extra moisture..(a fat stack of paper towels on top of newspaper will work fine, or a beater cotton towel)..] ....

I'm using FoxFarmOceanForest and Light Warrior 2:1 ratio. Ma the containers arent to heavy they drain good my soul does ok. I didn't put lime in my soul before I planned but I put some on my soul and watered it in a month and a half ago roughly.

They all seem to be a little better except my Purple Express #2 I have pics ill try to upload.

Thanks for the help. You got any more advice for me to help me on my first grow. Tips for better yield. Will these problems I'm having affect my yield Pretty bad.
