Hey everyone, in my last grows and since i am using Bio Bizz All mix i am experiencing Magnesium deficiencies in my plants too early (like week 2). Time that i am not supposed to feed. I wonder if this happened to anyone around. Feel free to comment :tiphat:

Note1: That happened using CFLs and LEDs.
Note2: Iam using tap water, not RO.

Peace

All Mix is considered a "hot" mix in that it contains a lot of organic nutrients, which are often too much for sensitive auto seedlings. Generally we recommend starting them in something like their Light Mix. Post some pictures of your plant, taken in natural light so we can see the true color of the leaves.

Pic incoming guys.

Iam wondering how? any sticky explaining how to upload pics?

Definitely not a magnesium issue. If it was you would see a light green shade to the leaves with the veins being a deeper green. I'm still thinking this was the result of the hot soil. The pH reading of 6.5 that you are getting, is that the pH of your feeds or the pH of your run off? Knowing the pH of both would be helpful.

The ph of my feeds sit at 7.0 and the run off 6.7, meaning that soil is around 6.5.
That yellow leaf initially was how you described green veins and yellow between nerves.
She grown really well and fast in first 2 weeks not showing signs of burning, thats why i think its not the hotness of the soil. The leaves stems are also purple and where u see "burned" was purple in leaves too, when i add cal mag to my nutrient solutions that purple turned brown and crispy. and the purple shades stopped spreading to the rest of the plant.

Peace

Okay, we can rule out pH as the issue. Glad you mentioned the purple stems as I can't see that in the pictures. How old are they, what are you feeding and when did you start feeding them?

She is day 28, i just gave plain tap water till week 3,

Week 3:half a dose of bio grow (0.5/litre), Alg a mic (0.5/litre).

week 4: = bio grow (1/litre), Alg a mic (1/litre), (1/litre).cal and mag from bio nova (iam thinking the problem can be here, maybe the magnesium oxide (Bio Nova Mg8) is not the best molecule, and the magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) are more effective (Just a thought).

Last feed a added 0.5 of Bio Bloom since i want my plant short to fit in my tiny cab. I was planing give a dose of foliar feeding of Epsoms and see if she gets better.

Temp: 27 Celsius
RH: around 40rH
Lights: 42w 3w chips leds and 30w cfl.
1.5L Airpot
Strain: Auto White Widow DP

I'm thinking they may be a bit underfed. Red stems and the brown along the edges and tips of the leaves indicate a possible phosphorus deficiency. You may need to up the strength of your feeds. I've not personally used their products but many here have. Do an advanced search with Biobizz as the key word. Right next to the keyword box is a drop down. Change that so the search is thread titles. You'll get hits on a lot of grows using their products. See what others are feeding at the same point in the grow as your plants.
