Every time i dry my bud gets so crispy in a few days and the stems are always moist and pliable, is this the norm or is my airflow a little too much? I have the extraction system pulling Air through a second tent where the bud is drying.

I do a bit of wet, normally chop the big fans off and trim around the sugar, try to get as many of the leaves i think will stay wet in the stems to avoid hay smell, always leave the sugar on. i had a fan blowing in, turned that off and opened the door some for a more even slower air flow, seems to be doing the job, more even on moisture overall. It is prettey hot in here, around 25-30c by the end of the day, humidty is well below 62% also, my bovedas on the top are rock solid.

If stems give you problems, just wet trim - remove the buds from the stems.

You mention buds fully drying, even brittle, "in a few days." This is just too fast. Strangely, you seem to not be drying the herb in any kind of container, fully open to the air, not even in a paper bag - that's not normal drying method, goes too fast.

What is the 'relative humidity' of the buds when you call them dry/brittle but stems "stay wet?" Are you even measuring the rH of the buds (which can't be done unless put the buds in a container)?

had lots of trouble drying n curing in early days I find easy way is to hang whole plant the lot for 5 days in tent in dark then remove buds and put them on drying rack day or 2 then in jars to be burbed twice a day for week then once a day for week, some weeds smell like shitty hay but some of my best weed have been ones that just change when cured. waiting is the hardest bit dutch passions ultimate is great when u wait had a bit that I thought was crap ended up being killer bout 5 weeks cure, once u get a stock pile its easy to wait it out happy

Got one in cure now, smells ok, lost its stick and tastes a bit off, dried till it snaps off, threw in a box for 2 days then jarred, burped maybe once a day, it was sticky and didnt taste so bad.
