Do all strains grow to solid buds I've got a auto skull Ryder the tri are Millie as and amber but she still a bit fluffy if that's the right word my auto assassin came out with solid nugs just a big difference in buds grown at same time

Density comes with a lot of Factors. Only the Strain isnt a good description.. what lights used? ferts?

Indica has denser nugs than sativa usually. That's been my experience

Also the distance from the light can play a part. Keeping it as close as possible during veg will keep the inter nodes closer together & the buds tighter.

This has been my experience as well

I also think that heat and light has something to do with it.

IMO Haze and Thai strains (never grown a Thai, but got a cross in the GH now), can tend to be airy, but I have also seen some tight nugs too.

Nutrients factor in as well, probably more that I can't think of right now too.

Gotta run

Thanks for the info guys I'm going to run water for one more week just to be sure it's really starting to fox tail as well

Hmm Hazes over here alway some of the densnest buds.... people aint let them go long enough that they can be propper buds

I've also always struggled with bud density. Would like to grow tighter nugs, so any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Bud density is somewhat strain related but I believe the main factor to having dense buds is having enough light and the correct spectrum of red during flowering.
