Ive had this and the veg version of this, for maybe 3 or 4 years just sitting in my closet I was going to get some new nutes today but didn't have time so may just use this for now so can u tell if nutes are too old and gone bad?

Before I go waste money I thought I'd get you guys input, thanks :bong:

Not sure what that looks like new. I use General Organics and they are pretty stinky new. Someone else posted about this before and I read that most Organic nutes have about a year and half shelf life. Hoping you didn't have them in high heat storage too. Hope this helps. :D

But hell ya never know they may be fine still. Try and see!

EDIT: Yes on second thought, don't use them on your entire grow! I was thinking maybe on just one plant to see how it did. Just a thought. :D

nutes can/will go bad! especially those of Organic nature. Nutrients do however tend to stay more STABLE/PONTENT if you keep them @ room temperature or a little cooler, as well as in a DARK place! Good luck and almost always USE Caution when using old expired nutes my fellow AFN Brother...

Most nutes Are stinky! But if the shit starts smelling like its FERMENTING "smells like alcohol"; u need to chuck that shit. u will do more harm than good. its cheaper to just buy NEW shit as opposed to fighting with ur garden for the WHOLE ENTIRE grow. GL

I wouldn't chance it after them sitting that long, better safe then sorry, time for new nutes.

Definitely time for new nutes. I've had GH nutes go to sludge on me before after I misplaced some...don't use 'em...you've been warned!

Thanks everyone! Tomorrow ill head to my local hydroponic store and get some New nutrients :D I was going to get some fox farm nutes does anyone have any experience with those?

I've only used Fox Farm soils...

If running organic, I like to build a more complete soil and then just use teas as opposed to liquid name-brand nutes...

Many people like Fox Farm's nute line however...I hear a lot of good about GH's General Organics line as well...

botanicare pure blend pro "advanced" here, all the way baby! they are a bit more expensive but its worth it in the END Result... blows my shit up. my final product always tastes like Sugar when i smoke it as well; u cant beat that in quality. Also I NEVER ever have Ph issues!
