New Grower Can your watering can contaminate your grow?

Still searching for the cause.

What's the chance the container can harbor bacteria? Maybe grows on the residue left from nutes and other various additives? I never do more than give a quick rinse. Any of you practice more thorough watering can hygiene?

well a rinse directly after using the can and every few watering or uses I tend to wash with a warm water and dawn soap and that after me using my 1:5 dilution of bleach sprayed in and left to sit a cpl minutes and then spray again and rinse again(not a lot of water used really) and left to air dry.and thats always done me right.chems or organics man:Hookah::Sharing One:
