Lighting Change light on and off time

Now that I am up and growing , I am have small kine heat issues...I am shutting down light from 12 pm to 4 pm....it's getting to hot at that time of day to keep the tent closed...when lights come on the temp is up to 88 degrees....I can combat the heat with fans and opening tent..only after lights turn on.i can get the temps down to 84-86( I know still to hot , summer in Hawaii)..I want to change the to go off at 12 am- 4am...I think the dark time would be better with lower temps...( only down to 80 degrees)...if so how do I change light on and off times..extend light time until until new dark time rolls around ..?or go dark first then light....and this is for autoflower gorilla glue....I hope this makes sense..thanks for your time...can't wait to here from ya...aloha

Just leave the light on until the new off time. They will be ok. Do you have an exhaust fan on the tent?

Hi @la'aloa Welcome to AFN. I just noticed you are new here. I live in the San Joaquin Valley of California. It is much hotter here but dryer. I have no problem growing in the temperatures you are showing here. I do try to choose tropical sativas for summer since high temp/humid conditions are normal for them. To tag someone to get their attention put the atmark @ in front of their name like I did for you.

@Man'O'Green.....Thanks for the info...on posting and growing....glad to hear that my temperatures are not out of control...i do live in Hawaii close to the ocean and we are obviously coming up on hot and humid times...I do have a exhaust fan( pretty strong) plants are growing fine ...just trying to be proactive and trouble shoot before it became a problem...I was just looking and hoping to make things better..(still learning) ....would this be a smart move to do now( before flowering) or should I let it go and change things on my next grow...
