Hi guys, quick question i been hearing and seeing alot of cheese strains or cheese hybrids i just want to know whats it all about? i see some people say it taste and smell like cheese others say it doesn’t taste like it at all. I want to try some but if i hit my bowl or vape and tastes cheese i dont think that would be all that enjoyable. lol
im sorry im a man of flavor, dont get me wrong i love strong smoke but i but one of my favorite things about MJ is all the verity of favors she comes in. I just dont think cheese sound all that appealing. can anyone fill me in? or is it just one of the things, that until you try it, you wont know? Any really good cheese strains out there that you guys say a person with no experience with strain MUST try?

thanks for any replys!:smokebuds:

Cheese is a variant of Skunk #1.
The effects should be very similar to that strain.
Never tried it ( Cheese ) however straight Skunk#1 is very nice.
So I would think Cheese would be nice as well.
We will see as my buddy just picked up an Exodus Cheese clone.
Maybe I will post it up when it i finished.

thanks i would love to see and hear about how that goes!

Hey bro I grew a Dinafem Auto White Cheese and it was mighty tasty! I read that it has a taste "comparable to UK cheese," but I have no idea what UK cheese is like. But I can tell you this; it smelled like dark, rotting fruit, if that makes any sense; and the taste lingered in your mouth longer after the exhale (in a good way.) I'm not so sure about the smell comparison to actual cheese (maybe one of the cheese connoisseurs on here can tell us :booya: ), but that particular strain was very pungent and I imagine other cheese strains too have a particular different kind of nostril tickler!

I was walking down the street in San Diego once and a friend of a friend was smoking a bowl on the corner (it was last call on a saturday night at the bars, lol). He offered me a hit and said, "yeah it's hydro cheese, just got it today." That's the only thing he said about it, and by god if it didn't taste tangy like cheddar, with that fatty sweetness that's in the background of most mild cheeses. VERY oily and expansive, that helped that thick flavor stay in the mouth. I was shocked, because like yourself I'd always thought, "yeah yeah...whatever, I'm sure it smells like whatever you expect it to smell like" whenever I read a smoke report. At least in the case of the weed I tried, it definitely had a cheesy flavor.

so its like a super stinky, super crazy tasting skunk strain? I was thinking of going with DinaFems White cheese if i did grow one, thats funny you mentioned that, or Delious Seeds Candy Cheese, being ima a fan with anything with candy in the title.lol :stylez rasta smoke:

I had a Purple Chedder that was killer. No cheese taste but was nice sweet and not harsh. Loved it.

If I were to want that cheese flavor, I'd try to find the purest cheese strain that hasn't been outcrossed...my suspicion is that Dinafem and Big Buddha have some of the best commercial cheese strains out there. I'd probably run a 5 pack of feminized Dinafem Deep Cheese and try to keep the strongest smelling pheno.
