Grow Mediums Coco Q's. Do my Plants/Set up look ok?

I've been using biobizz grow up to now, the guy at the hydroponics store insisted biobizz nutes would be fine with the gold labels buffers. I've also been using a little coconut water for the plant hormones that it contains, but i doubt thats the problem because its so mild in concentration. I also think it may be worth mentioning that im growing in coco but hand watering, I don't have a hydroponic watering system in place, But as far as i was aware that isn't a problem with coco. I have more leaf tips turning upwards so maybe thats a good sign as previously mentioned, Im going to see if the next couple of days show any positive signs and just feed water, Im sure the nute burn is spreading despite folks saying the plants looked starved.

Man how is nute burn spreading if you aint even feeding them.
You can handwater coco just fine. The buffers in coco get screwed up tho when you add plain water, at least thats how it is with Canna coco. They say the water needs to be AT LEAST 0.8EC to keep the buffers on point. So I feed seedlings from day 0 @ 0.8EC and have not had nute burn. And I know your coco is starving for cal/mag if you just adding water. The coco hogs it and won't give your plants any until it has enough for itself. That's probably the missing link omnius was talking about, magnesium deficiency looks like nitrogen deficiency so it fades from green to yellow, then when severe the leaf dies because it has nothing to live on.

So, do what i originally posted a few days ago, FEED to runoff every other day or 2 depending how fast your pot dries up. This is to let the roots breathe and grow, the feed is necessary for growth, nothing will grow in coco by itself because it is inert.

Update! One of the plants, the widowhas grown a set of fan leaves today so seems to have made a recovery. I ph'd my feed and it seems to have worked. The quickfruit seems to be dying and I think it may be too late to save her! Anyone have any ideas??

I think half strength might still be too much. If you are still getting nute burn you should continue to feed every watering like everyone is saying and just lower the strength of the nutes. maybe 1/4 strength instead of 1/2
