Hey all! I'm currently a college student living in cheap housing and I'm pretty broke, but I managed to build my entire op for around $100.

-2 30 gallon garbage cans
-8x10 sheet of mylar
-2 2700k cfls
-2 5000k cfls
(5400 lumens between all four)
-Electrical components
-4 bags Miracle Grow Seedling compound
-Ventilation
-Thermometer/Humidity reader

The 2 garbage cans are lined with the mylar and stacked on top of each other and the bottom one filled about 1/3 of the way (10-ish gallons of dirt).

The germinated seed went into the dirt on March 1st 2013. I'm wondering what you guys think of the progress so far.

Thoughts?
-I had no intentions of using fertilizer as there is only one plant for so much dirt.
-Lights have been on 24 hrs, until today. Switched to 20/4.
-The seed cap stayed on for quite a while, and I'm worried it got stunted.
-Had been using all four lights but switched to 2 blue/1 red until into flowering.
-Have been watering every other day, because I had heard AF's prefer that.
-Realize space is cramped but had hoped for a smaller plant.

This is my first attempt so any insight is appreciated!

looks like its coming along, do you have a fan in there.....

Nice it should get around 25 inches tall , should be a good one.
