image.jpg image.jpg Heys running into some issues with my new tent. Its a soil grow, a black gold soil product with perlite mixed it. Nutes on the bager were all < .5 npk. Pots are 3 gal bags. Light was blackstar 50w ufo with a house fan in tent, temps 72-81 depending humidity high 60% low 39%. Update, mar reflextor light came in yesterday 720w? The three panel one. And I felt the door open on tent and have the house fan next to it trying to pull air off it. Temperatures were sitting at 92 now the closet door is open as well as tent door temp is now 85 humidity is now around 25%.

Now I realize these temps are really high now and until the extract fan comes I dont think I will be able to get temps under mid 80s, but the leaves were still doing this with the smaller light, except not as extreme.

Symptoms:
~Leaves serrations are starting to curl towards the center of the leaf, this was happening with both leds but now more drastic
~Leaves are starting to curl in on them selves

My guesses are 1) first and foremost heat is an issue. 2) cal/mag is becoming an issue

Please any advice will appreciated!

(Also im not sure exactly how those 5 seedlings are so stunted)

How much water were and are they getting? If i had to guess it's a heat coupled with dry soil thing. It looks like the leaves are curling up on themselves because they're trying to minimize their surface area to light to retain moisture. You really need to get the temps under 80 or you risk some major stress maybe even hermie action, and they seem too young to be getting into any kind of nutrient deficiency like cal mag.

... Mooons- High heat and low RH, possibly too intense lighting are all in play here,... any combo of low RH, high temps, and strong breezes will cause the curling, pale color; overly strong lighting can cause the color loss as well, or worse-- how high up is that new Mars unit? That's a big jump in output! Seedlings need to start out with less intense lighting, so about 24" from tops is fine,.... how's the soil moisture? Seedlings want nice even, consistent moisture, not always easy to keep in larger pots at this stage,... a sprayer is handy for spot watering around the seedlings often as needed, but in fabric pots things will dry faster all around as well, so make sure the outer, deeper areas are still well moistened,... when they get roasted, transpiration gets shut off to preserve water, and so transport of nutrients slows way down as well, cause color loss, even deficiency symptoms,... some of the little ones look pretty rough, but savable,... get your temps' down as best can for now, and keep that RH up over 40% at least,...no Ca or Mg defc. symptoms I can see,... The soil pH is a concern as well, so check that to see if it's off, and let us know what it is...

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hey guys! Thank for the reply! Life got busy at a crucial time as it always seems to. I'm still running into the same issue still, 3 of the babies, they are stunted pretty bad, and one is a rocket ship! My temps now never get above 81* and the low temp is 73*. Humidity ranges from 41-63%. Light is on a timer 17.5/6.5 on/off that helps exponentially, and yes the extra 1/2 hr makes a difference I found haha. I've know I need a ph reading but I still need distilled water so I can calibrate my pen. Also I'm concerned my soil will hold WAY to much water when I saturate it to get a reading of run off, any input?

The largest is confirmed a girl! She has pistils and smells like asphalt. And she has had two feedings so far and seems to love it!
Also I plucked the babies that were not making progress, they were starting to shrivel.
Thanks guys any help appreciated.
