Does anybody think this would be a decent reflector for a conversion? I have 2 hydrofarm 6" air cooled hoods and I want to use em if I can. I think they measure about 21" x 13" x 8".

I am looking at going to CMH now that I am getting back into growing and getting away from HPS. Aiming to build a COB for my 8x4 but in the meantime I thought I'd save myself some $ and convert the hps to cmh. Priced up two ballast conversion sets with two cmh bulbs (one 4200k and one 3100k) for about $450.

So are these gonna do a decent job? The grow shop guy recommended I go to one dual bulb hood but I can't really afford one.

Suppose I could put the 450 on a cob build but I haven't priced one up yet. And I need to get up and running by next week. Not sure how far I'd go with that 450.

Please advise! Thanks for your help :thanks:

Hey nebula, ive been running two 315 sunsystem 3100k lights and so far have gotten really nice results, and also saved on elec. they say with the phillips bulbs they have great spectrum as well, and i agree.SO GO FOR IT..never know till ya try.
